I recognize I'm in the minority. And, as silly as it may sound to me, I have heard story after story of recruits talking about how cool they'd look in a Duck uni. Like I said, they're accomplishing their goal. And if I have to trade tradition for wins, that seems to be a small price to pay.

Retro uniforms have been my favorite this season :)

I understand why people like the retro uniforms...but having attended U of O in the 70s, they bring back too many hideous memories.

Some of you may be familiar with the name Norv Turner. Sitting in Autzen, watching that guy play QB, was a nightmarish experience.

He was brilliant....in a twisted sort of way. He was slow-footed, weak-armed, and didn't trust his pass blocking. His solution? About once a quarter, he would take the center snap, drop it on the ground, and run away from it as fast as he could. In fairness - it worked. The defensive line would hang back for a split second looking for the fumble, instead of pass rushing all out. It might destroy what little chance we had of winning...but that was less important than keeping those stuborn grass off his uniform!

Of course, he was aided and abetted by a loopy coach who specialized in running off the few good players we had. (eg future NFL all-pro Russ Francis)

    Bad times.

I implore you to never wear those hideous grey/carbon pants again. The helmet is fine but the pants are just atrocious.

So, they went with green shirts and black pants. I couldn't care less what they wore. Whatever was worn tonight worked!

That was one of the greatest nights of my life. Seriously. I'm really proud of my team right now.

Congrats. The Ducks played like a well oiled machine. I just found out I am going to the CW with good seats too. Of course I will wear my Beavs gear and root for the Beavs. It looks like it will be very tough for the Beavs to beat the Ducks in Autzen, but last time the Beavers played on a Thursday night I do believe they took down #1 in a game that no one thought they could win.

    Great game.

I was afraid the USC offensive line would bully the smaller Duck's defense, and lead some sustained drives that would take the crowd out of the game. The Ducks just weren't going to let it happen!

Great game Ducks. USC fan, coming to take my hat off to you, and say congrats.

Now to curse out Carroll for his offensive and defensive play calling. ugh. I can't understand him. I've noticed recently, he tends to coach a lot of games as if he is playing San Jose State, as opposed to focusing on beating quality opponents.

Los Angeles teams have so much trouble in the state of Oregon. Some weird trend.

Being ranked at #8 behind all the unbeaten teams. Not too shabby!

Is Sagarin part of the computer polls?

I know Harris and Coaches are part of the final BCS ranking, but what polls make up the computer poll? Hopefully Sagarin is part. :)

What a game! What a night!! Probably the best night you could ever ask for if you're a Duck fan. And other than the win, the best news of all: NO INJURIES!!! :ghoti:
