This one's going down to the wire. Tied at 87, 10-0 run for the Nuggs. My prediction: Melo hits the game winner.HUGE BLOCK BY BRAND!!!Dumb play by Radmonovic...should have wasted time and get a quick score. 24 secs left, Melo is going to win it.Melo airballs it, but still Denver ball, with 4.5 secs left.Argh, Melo fumbled with the ball, so he didnt have enough time to launch the shot. Nice pressure by the Clipps. Denver loses.
That was blocking. Vladamir should be on the line. The nuggets player was still moving. :no1:Well it didn't cost the Clippers the game. Carmelo should've posted Mobley up.
Melo was absolutely horrible in the 4th quarter. How could you do that bad with an undersized Cuttino Mobley guarding you?
He cant hit them every time I guess. He choked big time this game. The only positive thing about this game is. We played pretty horrible and still only lost by 2 points. Also we played this game without Johnson, Najera, and EisleyWe just couldn't get our offense going. Carmelo and Miller are the only two players to score in double figures.Cutino Mobley killed us on the outside. Our defense on him was weak.
I think Cuttino Mobley is extremely underrated. He's deadly from the outside, and he's averaging career-hig assists and rebounding numbers (last time i checked), and he's playing pretty good defense.
Wow, after watching the replay of Carmelo's shot, I noticed Earl Boykins was WIDE OPEN at the perimeter. I dont know if Melo didnt see him or that he wanted to take matters in his own hands but you should have dropped it off to Boykins. Melo was pressured on defense and I dont care if you're the king of the clutch, you have to feed your teamate that ball if they're that wide open and if they're capable of hitting the shot. Sigh of relief for the Clipps.

Can't he hit a shot with 3 men on him? Damn you 'Melo.Anyway, Nuggets lose a close one. The Clippers at one point had a 16 point lead that the Nuggets widdled away. The difference? 3 POINT SHOOTING. Nuggets lose by 2, but get out scored by 15 from behind the arc.GET A FREAKIN" SHOOTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Martin needs to play D on Brand for the entire game, not just the 4th quarter. Boykins looked rusty since this was his first game in the last 16. Patterson didn't play at all in the 2nd half. Karl was infuriated with Patterson's lack of rotating on defense. You could just tell.Clipps played a good game. They hit their jump shots. Hopefully they don't fall in the rest of the series. Brand and Cassell carried them in the first quarter, but the 2nd half was kind of weird for the Clipps. Brand got 7 points in the 2nd half, but they didn't come as easily. Kaman was good, but wasn't the difference. His fouls actually helped the Nuggets get back in the game. Clipps were excellent at controlling the pace. Miller outplayed Cassel in my mind. Not only points, but composure. Mobley (not Ross) actually played pretty good D against 'Melo. If the Nuggets continue to let the Clipps outscore them by 15 points from 3 point land AND shoot 38% this will be a quick series.

There was 4 seconds left. Im sure his time to pass was limited. He made a mistake so what? He still has hit more game winners than anybody in the NBA this season.
BALLAHOLLIC, the Clippers only have to win three more games, and then you have to cut your arm off... lol.

The Clippers are very good. I'm surprised their record isn't better than it is. They could beat Phoenix. Brand will be a tough cover for them.
How about the Clippers? They are playing great right now, the leadership of Sam Cassell is one big reason why. I think this will be a 5 or 6 game series.
