Wondering what you guys have thought so far of our all HD broadcast this season? Past 2 seasons there have been a bunch of complaints about how bad the games looked(Thanks CSN)! We have had 3 shows so far and wanting some feedback! I guess if nobody has been bitchin', it's been good!

I don't think Comcast broadcasts NBALP in HD. I bet it looks great, though.

Did they ever address the problem with the transmitter? Wasn't that the problem last year?

I don't get HD games in Seattle (for some reason, there's no HD Comcast Sports channel).

    BUT...

The SD broadcasts have been way WAY better. I actually intended to start a thread about this, but I was distracted by something and forgot.

Thank you to whomever made the change. I am quite pleased. Now Comcast just needs to give me an HD channel for their sports channel.

The games have looked pretty dang good, on the road, in HD. I've enjoyed it.

I had to watch one game on my buddies Verizon FIOS thing, on a 32inch LCD w/120hz. So that wasn't bad.

HCP, in fact, Verizon non-HD (this year), looks better than last year's CSN non-HD games. But obviously the HD games look the best, I don't think it rivals ESPN's quality yet (picture quality that is).

Edit: Yeah, I Agree with Ed!

Verizon non-HD this year also looks better than Verizon non-HD last year, so I am grateful for that.

I have used every Satellite provider and used Comcast in the past. Their product is technologically inferior if you are into HD TV, to both major satellite providers. Secondly, I refuse to give in to what I basically view as blackmail in order to get you to be a customer.

^ yah, just suck it up and buy Comcast for the Blazers, that's why I did it......unfortunately they are WAY more costly than Verizon, buuuuutt.....I save the money (and hastle) of going to the games in person, I get to drink my cheap beer and free food on my couch, watching it in HD.

    Edit: Yah Hasoos, I hear ya....but I gotta watch them ... :)

I've noticed that the broadcasts have been freezing for a few seconds at totally random moments. Think it's only on CSN though.

same +1 happened on Verizon too, so I assume its Comcast network.

    KGW HD looked good.
    CSN HD looked average.
TNT and ESPN's HD picture quality is noticeably better IMO.

I'm not complaining. The CSN HD is 100 times better than the CSN SD crap we got last year.

Blazer broadcasts out here (SLC) on Comcast SD (NBA LP) have looked pretty good to me this year. I'm still waiting for a Blazer broadcast to be on the NBA TV HD channel. Games on that channel have looked damn good on my 1080 TV.

I project TNT or ESPN HD Blazer games in my HT whenever possible. THAT is the way to watch a game if you've got a nice big 120" projection screen. :)

The problem with the broadcast last season was when the feed was in standard def. Then, even on the HD channel on Comcast, the picture was HORRIBLE.

Since all the games are in HD this season, we haven't complained about that previous issue. Don't know if Comcast solved it. Don't care.

I have had several freeze ups. The picture will freeze for a few seconds, then unfreeze and jump to current.

Otherwise, the picture has been fine.
