Yes the Clippers are playing well. I give them all the credit in the world. But at the same time the Nuggets really can't play any worse. The Clips aren't doing anything different than other teams have been doing all year. Double 'Melo and hope noone else on the Nuggets can hit a shot. And the Nuggets haven't been able to hit a shot for 2 games now. The best thing the Clipps are doing is controlling the pace. When they have the ball they rarely shoot before there is 10 seconds left on the shot clock. The nuggets have been falling into the trap of slowing the game down because of that.It will be much harder to control the pace in Denver, where the Nuggets run much better, plus the addition of the crowd. We'll see what happens. But damn I still wish we were playing the Grizz instead of the Clipps.BTW: I'll be there for games 3 and 4. When Cassell has the ball and you here someone yell "ET Phone Home" that'll be me.
Balla I think you really underrated the Clippers. They have a great allaround lineup. I think they will take this in 6.Sam Cassell-The guy is a savvy veteran. He has won 2 championships with the Houston Rockets. The guy is experienced, he knows how to play in the playoffs. He is a great shooter and he has good court-awareness as well.Cuttino Mobley-Great shooter and great without the ball. This guy will light you up if you just give him a bit of room to manueverCorey maggette-Just a tough player. He is great at getting inside and when he does, he has strength and will be able to score. He is a good shooter too and just a very good attacker. He is also a pretty good wing defender.Elton Brand-Elton is a very tough inside player, he is great at posting up and he can sink the short jumper too. He is a very good post defender and wont let you get anything. Not to mention a monster rebounder and shotblockerChris Kaman-The guy is a beast, great defender, okay shot and he is a menace inside believe it or not. He is maybe the best defender on the team, or close to it. He also can guard the wing if he is told to. He has great quickness and strength on defense. Watch out for this guy.Plus the Clippers just have nuch more scoring options then you. Everyone on that starting 5 can score 15-20 ppg on a given night. Not the same in Denver, if Carmelo struggles there is really no one to take on the load.
Yes baby!!!!!Huge run to end the quarter. To huge turnovers one to beat the buzzer.24-13 Denver.
denver is garbage. they are falling apart. w/o martin they lost a huge chunk of post presence. melo can't get off to anything. there is no one to answer to elton brand.
I predicted this!!!!1. I said the Nuggets would win by 7 points. And they did  2. I said the Nuggets would win without K-Mart. And they did  Ladies and Gentlemen we have ourselves a series :winkglasses:
GAME 3:I'm tired. That was an ugly awesome win.It seems like if you score only 87 points in this series you will lose. All three games so far the losing team has scored 87 points. Anyway. . .Ugly with a capital F. Nuggets still could use a shooter (0-11 from 3 point range) and 38% overall and only 69% from the line.Clipps just couldn't keep their hands off the Nuggets. They play try to play tough D, but when you have your hands all over the other guy you'll get called for a foul a lot, especially in the raucous home arena of the Denver Nuggets.Place was a zoo. The loudest it has been over the last three years. Can't wait till Saturday to see what it is like.Defense and rebounding won the game for the Nuggets. Brand never was ever able to get established. His positioning was bad. Najera, Evans, and Camby did a nice job on him. Elson didn't.Maggette (and horrible shooting by the Nuggets) kept the Clipps in it. Anyway. . .GO NUGGETS!!!
The Nuggets obvioulsy needed this win, and they better play their tails off next game, because I could see the Clippers stealing one on the road.
I went to this game. It was one of the ugliest wins of the season. This game should have been a blowout. If the Nuggets had made at least half of the threes they took and if they would have made their free throws they would have one by 20. Also, George Karl made some questionable decisions in my opinion. He left Buckner in when he was just hucking up three's and missing them. It seemed like he was obsessed with Boykins also. He should have had Miller in way longer instead of Boykins. But anyways, this team is so much better without KMart and I don't think Martin will play another game in a Nuggets uniform. When we were on our way home from the game, on the radio they were interveiwing George Karl. He said something I agree with 100%. He said that the MVP of this game was Edguardo Najera. He was all over Brand the entire game to hold him to low scoring, he hustled all around the floor.Ugly win, but I will take it.

I was there too and thought it was awesome. I'm going Saturday too. Should be even better.I think being obsessed about Boykins is fine. They NEED Boykins to go off. He's rusty and they need the extra minutes, time to shake off the rust. Boykins was good at pushing the pace, something Miller sometimes forgets to do. As for Buckner, same kind of thing. We need Buck to hit 3's because we also need his D. They'll keep encourging him to shoot. And hopefully in game 4 he can hit 3 or 4. It isn't like the Nuggets have a bench of shooters or anything.

The crowd was going crazy! Did you see the guy who got arrested? The thing is when Boykins is not on, he won't get hot. BTW where did you sit?

He showed a few glimpses last night. I'd rather have him in there than Howard Eisley.Yeah, I saw the guy get kicked out at center court row 8 or so. Not sure what was up with that. He had another guy in a headlock for some reason.I was behind the Nuggets bench row 4 (so in actuality row 6). You?
What the hell is Denver doing? We are playing like we could care less about the game. Watching Greg Buckner jack up three after three is sickening.
so what'd ya'll think of Reggie Evans's "blocking out" technique?? I think that is what you call a dirty player. I also think Nuggets have a snowball's chance in hell to win the series as well. Just horrible shooting and to me it looks like they want to go home. there is no urgency in them to win the game. They act like they are the ones going up 3-1 in the series.
jesus votes that nuggeys are going to get rocked for the rest of this series! End the reign of Carmelo Anthony
