well it's over, mavs got it in the end.damn i was hoping memphis would stomp them too.. i'm predicting 7 games on this one. memphis isn't a bad team. i predict dirk to choke too. hahahai'm just saying the worst case scenario just because i'm a rocket's fan. but in reality the mavs are gonna take this series in 6 games and then i'll be pissed. but then i'lll be happy when they get owned in the 2nd round.like every other playoffs.

Yeah that's why I think the Mavs match up so well to the spurs. Dampier and Diop could really bother Duncan and also make it hard for Parker to get inside. Parker depends on the bigs to be not that active in shot blocking and with Diop there he won't be as effective.

See, everyone will be happy. The Mavs have the bigs to beat the Spurs. Then the Suns have a better chance to win. And also the NBA fans get an exciting 7 game series. Yay!

I agree. I think the Mavs have a good chance also but I see the Suns winning it. It would be kind of dumb to argue about it now because the possibility is still out there of the Spurs beating both teams in 6 games or less. [IMG] All Cuban's got to do is spend his money wisely. Pay the guy that give Duncan his shoes and make it all weird so it aggravates the injury... Yes...

The mavs are built to play against the spurs. You can't beat them without bigs. Brad Miller is a big that plays small. [IMG]

^Agreed, especially without Amare...heck this Mavs team is in every way better than last years Mavs team, and would be favored against them even if they had Amare. But it would be a fun series to watch this year either way.

They would own Dallas since the Mavs have no big man that can punish the suns like Duncan. The Mavs match up well to the spurs but that is not an area that the mavs will have an advantage. Amare is too quick for Diop and too strong for Dirk.

Yeah, and even without Amare we have a great chance to win. I have no idea why people are even bringing up Amare because we didn't have him the whole season and played great, against the Mavs too. It will be a good 7-game series especially if we can get KT back for his defense or even Dampier and Diop will reach double figures. With a healthy, 100% Amare we would have dominated. Without him, I still expect us to win in 7 but I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Mavs win.Mavsfan, you sure do know what you're talking about. Makes me want to stay here longer than the playoffs. Yeah I'm staying away from homerism. The Suns would be scary with Amare Stoudemire. Bell, Diaw, and Eddie House>Jim Jackson, Q. Richardson, and Joe Johnson. Also Barbosa has gotten better. The new players bring more versatility.

Well you are helping me not hate Dallas fans so they can go back as being one of the teams I like.

I wouldn't overlook the Suns either, but I think they would need Amare to win a 7 game series...But by next year, the Mavs will have a different team, once again, and Diop, Harris, Daniels, and Howard should all improve more by next year.So it'll be fun to see a series with them next time.

The suns will have trouble with the Clippers. I actually think the Clippers would give the Suns a harder time than the mavs. Brand and Kaman are very similar to Duncan and Mohammad. Also Cassell will go off on Nash. The Clippers and Suns series will be classic.

you're right, the clippers will be a tough team for phoenix to face, especially if the series vs. the lakers goes for 6 or 7 games.

Our series with the Lakers won't last long but I am really scared to face the Clippers. There could be an upset there since we don't have Kurt. :(Add me to the I hate Ginobli club. That flop that injured Barbosa was gayyyy.

Dirk's on fire. Mavs up 41-36. Not much defense being played so far. So much for Memphis's great defense. lol

Mavs up 53-43. The Grizzlies are playing well but the Mavs are unconscious at home. They are on a mission and are very focused. BTW when Dirk came out the mavs lost a lot of momentum and were -6 in point differential and +16 when Dirk is in.

Grizzlies fell asleep in the 2nd quarter. What happened? Everyone just stopped scoring. Pau Gasol looked nice in the 1st but everyone just faded. Hopefully they can come out strong in the 3rd.Anyway Dirk and Jason Terry are playing well for the Mavs.
