They never called fouls for Shaq, oh yeah, except when Sabonis would usually be sitting on the bench with 3 fouls in the first quarter for doing EXACTLY the same thing Shaq did to him. Shoot, Sabas would get about 1/2 his fouls against Shaq for standing straight up, hands straight up in the air, as Shaq tried to run him over. Go back and watch game 7 of the 2000 WCF Finals if you need reference. Though maybe that's not a good reference as I think that regardless of whether it was a rigged game, or it was a personal referee bias, the officiating was completely biased throughout the series. (See Rasheed getting a T for looking to hard at a referee.) It's stuff like that that make it to easy to believe that Donaughy isn't full of crap.

The big Chinese star? Where millions of fans are going to be? Sure. I saw at least 2 cases last year where he and Oden were locked hand in hand - initiated by Yao - and the call went against Oden.

    Not a real surprise, imho.

then you haven't watched much of yao. oden might get less respect than him(though oden gets less respect than any other player in the league), but yao gets hacked more than anyone else in the league and rarely gets the calls.

the idea that the league is biased for yao is just absolutely ridiculous if you've actually watched him play a decent amount.

You may be right. I was definitively commenting only on Rockets/Blazers games that I watched.
