Luol Deng is averaging a double-double (17.8 points and 10.5 rebounds). After not running for six months as he recovered from a stress fracture in his right tibia. Deng also hasn't missed a practice or game, quieting, at least for now, critics who called him soft.

"I'm not frustrated when people hold high standards," Deng told the Chicago Tribune Wednesday. "My only frustration came when people questioned my injury. That's the only time I really felt like it wasn't fair. I knew I was injured. I knew time would tell. But that was the worst feeling, that people thought I was faking it or something."
