"Dual attacks", whatever that means. Two suspects captured, 6 SWAT members injured. Nine are confirmed dead at this point.
CNN live feed here for anyone at work. Very sad. http://www.cnn.com/video/flashLive/live.html?stream=stream1
A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan. Imagine that.......................
This will make things harder for Arab Americans who serve in all branches of the military. I believe the majority of them serve with honor. I was also surprised that it was an officer.
crazy stuff, but when you think about it america is still damn too easy to attack, there's barely any security anywhere, (malls, hospitals, schools, etc) RIP to the victims
There is a damn reason why stereotypes exist. Is it sad that I'm not surprised an Arab was behind this?
This happened at an army fort, with thousands of armed soldiers, checkpoints, security screens... "Security" is unattainable in modern day society. The best you can hope for is freedom from Big Brother's grip.
You are right that it is sad. How many mass shootings on American soil have been committed by Arabs this past year? This is the first I believe among the many others. Have you grown up yet since reading my post?
Thousands of armed soldiers? Ever been on an army base? The only ammunition not in storage is either on the firing range or in an MP's belt pouch. And the ammo on the firing range ain't going nowhere but downrange.
American soil means nothing to me when it comes to this. This shit happens regularly like this, it is a stereotype that I have of my own people (I'm Arabic), and it was one of the 1st thoughts that popped in my head when reading about it before seeing the dudes name.
