Since blake and outlaw will walk away at seasons end, their contracts will be a nice chip come the deadline. We have 3 holes. PG, SF, backup PF. Amazingly having cap space and signing miller didnt fix our same three problems from last season. Therefore some team (hopefully bobcats..wallace) will wanna deal. Lets just hope he makes a deal before we are talking lottery. This team as is... isn't going anywhere. Thats why roy is so concerned. this will go down as one of the biggest let down type seasons in blazer history. kp can try to fix it with a deal but needs to act soon. The hedo rejection was the spark that started this fire which is starting to burn out of control. ever since he rejected us... nothing has gone right. including this season that was to be so great. Should be an interesting night in here after the spurs game. Its already been a disappointing season and its early November. We have 1 more win then the fucking kings! Think about that.
I don't think we have a hole at SF, IMO. But I do think PG (a defensive minded guard) and PF (Some type of banger for rebounds and post scoring). Don't know if Outlaw and Blake or Outlaw and Miller can get anyone that could help honestly.
its not outlaw and blake... they are piss but their contracts are very interesting to teams slashing payroll (half the nba)
Make a deal....like hit a button, and get a million dollars, but somebody you don't know dies? *hasoos starts hitting button over and over*
What do you mean? I am laughing right now. This is just a ride dude. Sometimes your team makes good moves. Sometimes not. All I know is, I am just happy and giddy that my starting lineup isn't Bassy, Juan on Five Dixon, Viktor Kryapa, Joel, and Zbo. Those were bad days. Those days I laughed too, because of how bad the team was, it was classic. Now my biggest worries are if Andre Miller fits. I think we have indeed moved up in the world.
I just don't get people who come to a sports board to bitch. I love basketball, and I love talking hoops. Part of that love expresses itself as being positive about the team. Why would be negative when it doesn't mean anything? Those dark days were fun, too. We were able to discuss ways we thought the team could be improved. We were able to make jokes about guns, strippers and drugs. Good times. Good times.
The impotence of KP He ain't going to make a deal. He ain't going to fire anyone. He just ain't going to do it. So let's quit talking about it already.
Well, "we" were "laughing" (or, I was disagreeing) when you said no mid-season trade, last year, meant no playoffs. Were "we" right to "laugh" then?
