Athletes are in a high risk group, IMO. They are more susceptible to illness than ordinary folk. Or so I've heard.
same thing happened with the flames. btw, i just drove past one of those h1n1 clinics and there was a lineup of cars stretching about half a kilometer here in markham
Kent Brockman: Professor, would you say it's time for our viewers to panic? Professor: Mmm, yes I would, Kent.
They might be more susceptible, but there's no way they should be cutting in front of infants, seniors, and pregnant women. Athlete's have way stronger immune systems and all the medical resources to make sure they can recover from this.
btw, I've finally started to see signs of full-blown panic about this. Saw my first "person wearing a mask" downtown the other day.
i hate to sound like a bigot but it seems like asians are overrepresented in this area, although, it might be the lingering effects of sars.
hey, when they survive and we die because we were too cool to put on a surgical mask- they be the ones laughing.
It was actually a white girl wearing it. I'm sure it was a leftover mask from "Sars Attacks!" though.
