Taj Gibson just gets a facial courtesy of Anderson Varejao, an dthen the national announcing crew points out he doesn't know how to defend the pick and roll. Welcome to the NBA, rook!

Dengs done a decent job on Lebron on D forcing him to become a jumpshooter.

We're like a gang of fools on that last possession. At least all 24 seconds are run out. 4.3 seconds left. Cleveland ball.

I'm surprised it was this close, a bit anemic but congrats to the Bulls tonight.

Though I was discouraged by the brick Salmons launched at the end, I was impressed that we actually ran a play that generated an open shot. That's as good as we're gonna get, and compared to the various end of game disasters we suffered last year when we tried anything but the BG bailout, it's a heck of a lot better.

I give most of the credit to Deng. He played straight up great defense last night.

And despite the bagging on him and getting dunked on the first play of the game, I'll eat some crow and say Taj Gibson did a very good job on the whole. This was the first game I looked at him and saw what, I guess, the Bulls are seeing.

It was no foul on James, I lmao'd at ESPN today in the morning they had it "LeBron Fouled?", haha they want their boy to succeed so much.

    Good job Bulls :)

It's ridiculous how LeBron is promoted on ESPN. Every time they show highlights of the Cavs they show every basket LeBron made and none of the misses. You'd think he scored 50 points that night with the hot shooting then you check the boxscore and find out later the Cavs lost, because the James Gang didn't help him out enough.

I think it's the type of foul that gets called if it wasn't a nationally televised game. Since it was the focal point for the night, they let the players play -- kind of like in the playoffs towards the end of games.

As much as I think the Cavs aren't the same team they were last year, beating them in Cleveland is pretty big for the bulls. That's 3 out of 4 strong performances on the road, that's another trend. And if the bulls get the right call there on shot clock, the Cavs don't even get the ball back. Not to mention the great D at the end. Everybody played pretty well, but it will be interesting to see if Gibson can keep from being an exploited rookie now that Tyrus is out.
