if anything i think the way people have been playing plays right into ivey's hands. he's widely regarded as the best poker player in the world for a reason. he knows how to pick his spots and he can use the crazy play against his opponents. even though he's starting 7th in chips, i think he has to be the favorite. he's that much better than everyone else at the table.
Ivey never had a real chance. I watched the live blog updates all of yesterday and nobody was willing to play when he bet. Nobody wanted to be the guy on tv who allowed Ivey to double up and let him become a real player. Moon has no idea how to play. Gives up $25 M on a 2-3-4 flop over another $6 M and a potential knock out? Cada coming from $2M remaining and all-in on a J-4 to having 60% of the chips before the play heads up is just amazing.
