Maybe it is an odd comment. When was the last time Wade or Bryant scored 2 points in a game while the PG shot the ball 14 times, regardless of a win or a loss?

This isn't the first time you've harped on Miller's shot attempts. We won. Who cares who shot the ball?

I'm looking big picture. Sorry. Clearly there are still some issues between Roy/Miller in terms of maximizing the team's best player.

Before tonight, Brandon has had 105 FGAs this season while Andre has had 47 FGAs. And Roy has 32 more FGAs than LA, who is second. I think Miller knows who the man is on the team.
And some of Miller's shots come when Blake or Roy pass it to him with 2-3 seconds on the shot clock and he's forced to put up a real bad shot.

    Big picture:

If Aldridge puts up 19 and 10, Oden stays in the game, and our offense is flowing like it was tonight, I really don't care if Roy scores 2 points of 30. The only thing that matters is the "W" .

Roy's 6 assists tell me he had at least 6 more opportunities to score. He didn't take them. That's his deal. Wade and Kobe? They might take those shots instead, and "get theirs".

I'm going to copy and paste this response. Every time you bring up the same two stats, I'm going to post this. We both get to up our post count, and we both will be adding exactly the same amount of value to this conversation.

    None.

This team is going nowhere if Brandon Roy is scoring 2 ppg.

We're 1-0 this year when he scores 2 points. Extrapolate that out to the rest of the season, and we'll run the table if we can just keep Roy at 2ppg.

I disagree. I don't think Brandon Roy is quite as significant as you make him out to be. Is he an important cog? Absolutely. Does he help the team? Absolutely. Is he our All-Star? Yes. Do our championship hopes rest on his shoulders? NO.

I think our hopes of a title rest more on the shoulders of Greg Oden than on Brandon Roy.

I just have to say - THIS BOARD SUCKS. I come home from a 23-point win and what do I see in the game thread - someone BITCHING about the WAY we WON!

Fucking amazing. If you just read the last page of the game thread you'd think we lost by 23.

Anyone who isn't happy with this team or this win, I strongly encourage you to head on over to the Memphis Grizzlies board where you constant whining and complaining would be appropriate and justified. Some people seem to love being miserable. Why not switch your alliance to a franchise that will guarantee you the non-stop misery you crave?

LaMarcus and Greg also combined for 12 free throw attempts in that span, certainly some of them were and-1s, but a lot of those have to be counted as shot attempts (and potential assists) if were talking about possessions intended to be scoring opportunities for the frontcourt. Even discounting the free throws, their 20 shots made up 43% of our starting unit's shot attempts. That works for me, when we have bigs like Greg and LaMarcus.

So, what were your Brandon concerns regarding the Spurs game, again?

Your sampling is very limited. I'd suggest you gather a bit more data on this perceived issue.

Yep, and with only 2 points from Roy! Good thing he got those 6 assists and 7 rebounds. Andre took a lot of shots, but he was wide open and assisted on at least two of them, so it's not like he was just chucking jumpers. Heck, Bayless was looking for his shot more than Andre. Good thing he was a machine out there!

I disagree with you. Roy is crucial to any championship in the future. Now what?

Yes, but then you look at who it is, and you realize that the person is simply a troll.

I pointed out a concern. I love the fact the team won. Perhaps you should post about Nate McMillan being a POS again and you'll feel better?
