I'll start. Kudos to Travis for absolutely sizzling tonight: 19 points in 19 minutes, some decent D, attacking the rim and not settling. Post 'em if you got 'em.
Kudos to Bayless for making the most of his time two games in a row. Before the second half tonight, he was averaging a point a minute too.
Kudos to Roy for not jacking up shots just to pad his stats, but instead looking for the open man, assisting on 7 buckets.
Yes! And he still played good defense! Kudos to the guards for grabbing so many rebounds: Our 3 guard lineup gathered 14 boards between them. Rudy chipped in 5 more.
Kudos to David Kahn for blowing up the wolves, drafting two point guards, signing another and for hiring Kurt Rambis to coach and teach them from scratch, the very difficult to master triangle offense. We really needed to play you guys tonight ...
Bayless has wickedly improved his pg play, the way he was driving to the basket, dishing, taking fouls, it was amazing, to see. And Cunningham needs to get mo minutes. He can hit mid range shots and be a good complementary "banger type" of pf for Joel. And Miller is still one of the best pgs in the league.
I thought maybe he'd come in later in the 4th, but really there was no need. I also think it'd be bad form in that situation to put in a starter in garbage time. Oden's not a rookie, so that excuse is gone this year. And he would have decimated The round mound Minny had out there.
Perhaps, but I actually thought Jawai was playing very well, he was much more polished offensively in the post than I expected for a guy his size.
