Man, remember when people criticized the Magic for drafting Dwight Howard over Emeka Okafor? Geez does he look mediocre.

ill scratch this comment because the hornets outside of paul suck. david west is a good player but certainly not an all star and him making the all star team over melo (who i hate) was ridiculous.

west and okafor amount to an o.k frontline but okafor is so injury prone and i think he's actually playing terrified because of that. however, songalia and hilton armstrong are a joke as backups. as for their perimeter players- james posey used to be a really effective player but he looks out of shape in my opinion so he's like the rest of their perimeter guys at this point.

here's an intriguing thought- i actually think sonny weems could start for the hornets and douby could also earn substantial minutes in their rotation as well.

i say we trade weems, douby and pat obryant for hilton armstrong and a second round pick. armstrong would be good insurance if amir johnson decides to leave.

btw, my boy amir played great!!!

Came out of college known as a good shooter, didn't show it in NJ, showed it on occasion in Dallas.

Don't see the hype about his 3pt shooting at all, so I'm not surprised that he's not hitting them. Not to mention a career 29.5% from three.

I liked what I saw from the team tonight. Hedo is so impressive. But, big game tomorrow.

Good game. I was able to catch most of the second half before going out.

This is one of those games where our firepower is just too much for the other team to handle. We won't win a lot of games like this, especially not important ones, but it might make the difference between 39 and 43 wins.

Surprisingly, against teams not known for their offense, we have looked golden!! I'm actually fairly confident against teams like the Cavs and Hornets, but teams like the Suns and Mavs still scare me.

It's amazing how solid we have looked against teams that don't spread the ball around and play with a balanced offensive attack. We always break down and end up giving up so many open looks. Teams will ball dominating players are much easier for us to stop, understandably.
