i think triano is trying to lose the game for us. playing rasho tonight even for just 2 minutes was an idiotic move. he quickly realized that force feeding rasho minutes against a quick spur team who like creating odd matchups was retarded so he subbed in amir. btw, rasho was a -5 and amir was a +7. and allowing caledron to play a team high 20+ minutes in the first half was another puzzling move particularly when george hill was routinely torching the guy.

and as for the spurs- ginobli is dominating. the guy has 7 assists and 13 points off the bench. here's what he's doing- he stands 7 feet behind the arc, the raptor defender lay off because they know he's not going to shoot from that spot but ginobli uses that space to accelerate and the raptor defenders are off balance and ginobli gets an easy path to the basket. guys like derozan and wright should crowd the guy and force him to operate under duress.

Hey i have a question... why do the Raps start DeRozan and never put him back in the game??? Just like tonight... He started but only played 12mins and hasn't been put back since?

I figured Bonner would have a good night against us. I swear the Raps probably saw who the Spurs were missing and thought this was a gimme game and proceeded to play like shit.

 

i blame triano for the loss.

-ginobli had it rolling and so he decides to let weems play his first minutes of the season against a determined ginboli who preceded to school the kid on every possession thereafter.
-amir was playing great and the raps were competitive with him on the floor in the fourth but triano negates all that by taking him out of the game for bargnani who struggled
-in the fourth quarter, triano used of lineup of bosh, bargnani, turk, belinelli and caledron- u know what they all have in common? none of them play defense


interesting notes...
-jack looked pissed on the sidelines; dont really blame him considering his unit which he led built a small lead and he was taken out in favour of jose who managed to squander it, although, it wasnt all caledron's fault
-turk isnt playing like a guy whose getting paid 10 million a year, not even close to it and tired of his constant laughter as well fraternizing with opposing players
-derozan looks disinterested as well on the sidelines
-at the end of the game when the raps were trying to extend the game- ivaroni was yelling at caledron to foul but he didnt foul, i would assume because he was at 5 fouls and didnt want to foul out of the game. caledron went back to the sidelines and exchanged some heated words with iavoroni afterwards and triano was totally oblivious to the entire thing kinda like his coaching
-this is the third game that the raps have allowed excess of 120 points


lets the chris bosh departure rumours begin...

 

they used to put him in the first few games. i think triano envisions derozan in his first year as a dantay jones in denver type of player whose primary responsibility is defense and energy, however, derozan is an average defender at best in my opinion.

 

Jesus, we gave up 131 points....that is so bad. Putting up a lot of points doesn't matter if we can stop anyone.

 

clearly jesus doesnt like the raptors.
