I think it's only begun. I can't say Nellie doesn't deserve this. When you lose your players, you also lose support from the fans.

The performance on the court is a reflection of the coaching.

The coaching is a reflection of the management.

Management is a reflection of the ownership.

I guess we need to work backwards here and start with the immediate problem. At this point, no player trade will solve any problems the team has.

The only thing about Stevens' statement I am skeptical about is:

It's clearly been documented that Rowell was the one who vetoed the Baron extension, but I'd like to know if there's a back story to this and the J-Rich trade.

Another win for the Agents and Players that are leaving... Perception is reality. Whether or not he was behind it, doesn't change the fact that people see it that way. It's time for Cohan to just sell the damn team already and blow this thing up. I've said all along that I'm for keeping Nelly, because there's not really a better coach out there to be had. All things being equal, I still believe that, but all things are no longer equal. Keep Curry, and blow the whole thing up...enough is enough!

Agreed 1000%. And the Ws should call him out on it publicly.

I'm still trying to figure out why the Warriors are suiting him up and starting him? They need to fine him, suspend him and keep him away from the young guys on the roster.

SJax is another example of why the NBA needs to get rid of guaranteed contracts. It's pathetic a player is allowed to act like this and it's even more pathetic the Warriors ownership hasn't done anything to stop it.

it really comes down to an issue of pride, for all parties concerned. everybody (nelson, cohan, rowell, etc.) is too fucking proud to admit that they have failed, shown poor judgement, or just plain aren't as clever as they had once thought. the fact that they are letting their foolish pride poison the morale and chemistry of a once (recently) promising team is unacceptable. they haven't made too much of an issue out of it, but all this shit that jax is doing with cupping his hand to his ear in response to the crowd, is fucking ridiculous. now don't get me wrong, cuz i think it's retarded that the fans boo him one play and cheer the next...it's hypocritical and shows that a lot of them don't understand a thing. but from a coaching/management perspective, the fact that he is talking shit to the fans and taunting them without consequence is not cool. for that alone, he should be benched. fuck him! after how much love the bay has shown him, he has the nerve to talk shit TO US??? after he so blatantly admitted deceiving rowell's stupid ass for the contract extension and declares that he wants to jump off the sinking ship, he expects us to still show him love? hell no. and that's not even getting into the issue of his on-the-court play...his dumb ass momentum-killing jumpshots and brainless turnovers. taking up morrow and buike's minutes. uggghhhhh i'm gonna stop now cuz i could go on forever hahah

sjax is an assclown, nobody wants him for that money. a buyout is a brilliant idea. but he is too greedy to take one. i would deactivate him for the next three years.

I think there is a bit of validity in the way Nellie alienates players. I think it's great if the players can take the high road and deal with it and some how channel it into something positive, like how Randolph did last season. But even then, a lot of luck went the way to Randolph (i.e. injuries).

I'm for keeping Nellie IF Nellie truly wants to be here, but it doesn't look like it.

You know I'd like to pin that on Nelson, but this sounds more like the pot calling the kettle black. Let's focus on getting rid of Jackson first. I'd offer to buy Jax out minus $5 mil?

The other stuff about Nelson rings true, so we can get rid of him afterward :ghoti:.

Let's not forget what happened to Mullin. It would be great if Nelson walked away after getting his wins record, but I doubt he walks away from the money. He's gotta be bought out, too.

Reading all this is depressing. Sell the team Cohan, fire Nellie, get rid of Jax/Maggette.

I loved the way he was passing the ball last night. I wonder if he's trying to get back in his teammates' good graces. During the game, I couldn't help but think it was a Gilbert Arenas type of thing refusing to shoot. I hope he's learning how he can help the team rather than this being his way of pouting.
