Re: 3-In-A-Row!! 'Cause they're shooting for 18-in-a-row, obviously. (sorry ABM, I had to. It was too easy...)
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! Blakey is the great equalizer. Both, Brandon and Andre love playing with that guy. You can see it in their body language.
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! yeah, no offense but I'm a little superstitious. so i'm not a big fan of this jinxing it stuff.
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! I've seen a couple Sac games and they look real comfortable in Westphal's offense. Its kind of a semi- run and gun. Hawes and Thompson are the perfect fits for that kind of scheme and Udrih and Evans are as well. The way they usually play without Kevin Martin makes you realize that he's really just a ppg stuffer and thats about it.
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! Poor guy gets no respect. Even when leading his team in a statistical category, ESPN won't acknowledge his greatness. WHY ARE THE SPANIARDS DISCRIMIANTED AGAINST? WHY?!
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! It's a similar situation to when Zbo was here a few years ago and went out, and the Blazers started winning. Kevin Martin hasn't met a shot he didn't like, and won't put one ounce of effort into the rest of his game. Now they have hard working players surrounding Tyrke Evans, who likes to share the ball, and amazingly enough things start to click.
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! Poor guy gets no respect from his coach as well. in 8 games he got 36 minutes of play (and 3 DNP-CD). Maybe it's time to acknowledge that Nate was good for him and got more from him and played him more than anyone else would...
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! We only need 15 more!!!!! +1!!!! http://www.nba.com/playerfile/sergio_rodriguez/index.html
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! Not sure about ROY stuff, especially if Griffin recovers well - but he is on track. It seems like the Kings might have found their "Brandon Roy" like component in Evans and have also found out that K-Martin might be their "Zach Randolph"...
Re: 3-In-A-Row!! I watched them play last night against the Thunder and I have to say I think Tyreke Evans has the potential to be a flat out stud in the league as a two-way player. He's very savvy on defense, he's pretty good with the ball in his hands, puts a ton of pressure on defenses with his dribble and creates a lot of open looks for his teammates (sound like anybody we know?) I think Martin is on borrowed time with that organization -- he is to scoring like Randolph is to rebounding the ball and getting his, ultimately empty because of his horrendous effort on defense. I also think Thompson is turning into something pretty special, he can face up, he rebounds well and he's pretty tough for a second year guy. Call me crazy but I think the Kings could win 30 this year, which would be a monumental achievement for that organization.
