Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) I'm a little surprised that Ortiz is the favourite in this fight. A lot of people (myself included) think Griffin won the first bout (or at least drew) and Ortiz has been off since May of 2008 (Griffin has three fights since then, all against high level competition--Shogun, Evans, Silva).

Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) The line has swung on the Ortiz/Griffin fight. Ortiz +135, Griffin -165. Now Forrest is the fav.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) ^i think rolling the dices on ortiz could turn out to be a good gamble.. forrest mentally should still be weak after the big loss to silva..
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) I agree. I'm not sure Griffin is the same "hungry" fighter he once was. He's gone a bit hollywood and Ortiz needs a win to move up the title contender rankings. I could see Ortiz stealing this fight.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) It really depends on where Tito is, coming off that back surgery could make his cardio not as good as it has been in the past. A 100% healthy Tito with conditioning, would be the favourite because of Tito's superior wrestling.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) ^ Tito could only manage to win one round last time, IMHO, and for sure an active Tito from a few years ago is better than this one--coming off a long layoff and back surgery. Plus Griffin has improved as a fighter.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) The trend continues and I couldn't be happier about it... SpikeTV will air at least two preliminary bouts prior to UFC 106--Jake Rosholt vs. Kendall Grove and Ben Saunders vs. Marcus "Joe and Mike love this guy so much they'd drink his bathwater" Davis.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) Yeah. I'll go for Tito Ortiz! For me, he's the man! Let's just watch it!
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) When you look at it... 205lbs. Tito Ortiz (16-6-1) [-170] vs. Forrest Griffin (16-6) [+140] 170lbs. Josh Koschek (13-4) vs. Anthony Johnson (8-2) 205lbs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (17-3) vs. Luis Cane (10-1, 1NC) 170lbs. Amir Sadollah (2-1) [-165] vs. Phil Baroni (13-11) [+135] 170lbs. Karo Parisyan (26-5, 2NC) [-120] vs. Dustin Hazelett (14-4) [-110] 170lbs. Marcus Davis vs. Ben Saunders 185lbs. Kendall Grove vs. Jake Rosholt We're getting all of this on Saturday and despite there not being a title fight, that is a pretty great card. With the possible exception of Grove/Rosholt, this could be one of the best of the year.
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) AJ made weight! I guess the trick is to have him fight every three-four weeks. Main Bouts: Forrest Griffin (205) vs. Tito Ortiz (204) Josh Koscheck (171) vs. Anthony Johnson (170) Paulo Thiago (169) vs. Jacob Volkmann (170) Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (205) vs. Luis Cane (205) Amir Sadollah (170) vs. Phil Baroni (170) On Spike: Marcus Davis (170) vs. Ben Saunders (170) Jake Rosholt (185.5)vs. Kendall Grove (186) Preliminary Bouts: Brock Larson (171) vs. Brian Foster (171) Caol Uno (155.5) vs. Fabricio Camoes (155.5) George Sotiropoulos (155) vs. Jason Dent (155)
Re: UFC 106: Ortiz vs. Griffin II (Nov. 21st) That is actually Koscheck's goal next year, to fight once a month! I won't be surprized if he gets the record for most fights in the UFC, he's not that far off as it is.
