What arya is trying to say is that Kwame has really improved after the All-Star break. Personally, I think it is a confidence thing. People have wrote him off as a bust and MJ called him a <Censored>. Those kind of things can really hurt your confidence. But the thing is, Kwame is a good low post defender and he has now shown that he has some offensive low-post moves. When I saw him, he had a good back to the basket game. Though he is still inconsistent, it is clear that he is improving.
No one comes around after being in the NBA for this long. Maybe he'll be a mediocre player in a few years, but he's not #1 pick material.
Hmm? Are you saying that nobody can improve after they turn 24???Thats what the MIP award is for buddy. He is still very young and has a great chance to improve his skills on a squad like the Lakers. I have no idea what you are talking about.

Or like Darko who's already averaging a crazy number of blocks in like 20 minutes?Kwame is a sensitive guy and MJ and wizards just crushed him. But like I said recently he's been greatly improving and look for him to have a MIP kind of season next year.
I dont think Kwame will be a superstar in the league. i think he'll become a good role player, a 3rd option a team, but by no means a superstar. I look at it this way. If they redid the draft, Kwame wouldnt be in the number 1 pick. Pau Gasol would probably. Kwame would still be a lottery pick, but not good enough for number 1. Good role player, but not a player you build a franchise around.
Oh, definetly not a superstar. I wasn't saying he was a superstar. Yeah I think he could be a good third option or a garbage man like Ben Wallace. maybe a 15 and 8 player with world-class defense and intimidating post presence.
1. Steve Nash was already a very good player2. Kwame so far has shown that he's a below average player, at his age he's not going to suddenly jump to being worthy of the number one pick in the draft. Maybe he'll become a semi-decent role player, but he's not ever going to become what we were led to believe he would.EDIT: On Darko, he's getting minutes now which he didn't in Detroit. It's completely different from Kwame's situation.
When did Anyone say that he would ever be worthy of a #1 pick? We just said that he would become a solid role player int he future. He wont do it at his age? You should seriously stop posting here. The Guy is only 24!!
He's shown nothing so far to make me think he has what it takes to suceed in this league. Name me one player who sucked for the first 6 years of their career and then suddenly became a great player.
