We sure do seem to have a lot of new posters in here these days. And, I recognize a lot of names from that den of iniquity.
I think O-live had some technical problems last season, which turned a ton of people off. It's fixed now, but the damage has already been done. A lot of those people have been told to come in here. SlyPokerDog told me to come here about 2 months ago. So here I am. Hank wants attention, so more people in here, the better it is for him to troll.
If you look at the forum during games it's nothing but trolls it seems like, so sad, i used to love that place.
me too.. great bunch of years I spent there. fortunately the most of us got to join forces with another great Blazers community. It took some getting used to but I feel at home here now.
Ah. I used it quite a bit in 2000. I liked the immediacy of the format...it was like a hybrid of a forum and chat room. Quick responses, but some threaded permanence. But there were a few too many trolls and trash-talkers who drowned out the good discussions at times. That same year I found HoopsBoard, which became FanHome, and that's the community that then jumped to BBB and then here. I always enjoy rehashing my Blazer discussion journey. Anyway, o-live was fun when not loaded with trash posters. But the lack of persistent user names/accounts made it way too crazy.
Yeah, most of the good posters have switched over, but i would like to see Beast and Lanny switch as well, who does have a name here, but still posts over there.
A lot of people don't see to like him, but i've never had any problems with him, not sure why he gets so much flak.
I've heard of that guy but i'd be very surprised if they were the same, as any o live vet here like wheels, wookee, abm, or sly will tell you, lanny is one of the biggest Blazer fans you will find, and a quality individual.
