    Can we go 16-3?

14 game win streak? Or is it a 13 game win streak that ends like the last one? In Utah?

    Learn the game. We're 6-3. Add 10 wins and we're 16-3.

PLEASE learn the game before posting.

actually, in this case I believe you meant to say "learn simple mathematics my friend". When he forgot that the clock stops when a foul is called, that would be a more appropriate time to throw out the "learn the game" catch-phrase.

You should make a t-shirt saying that. "Zach Addy says Learn the game".

    You're losing to the Nets.

it's unlikely but definitely possible. at the hawks and at the jazz are the only two games that look like they should really be any trouble at this point.

Greg Oden is going to make Brook Lopez look like Robin Lopez - goofy and untalented.

I think Charlotte and Atlanta are both going to be real tests. Wallace is going to be a tough matchup (he always is) and Atlanta's athleticism and length always give us trouble.

I think I'm going to bookmark this thread; it reminds me a whole lot of ABM's prophetic 18-0 post ...

why is it considered a bad thing to point out that the schedule isn't very difficult and that it looks like the blazers should win the majority of their games in the near future?

I have no fears of Charlotte since they acquired Tyson Chandler.

In the second quarter Tyson will get himself ejected once again playing against Joel and an already limited offensive team will lose guy that can run the pick and roll well.

Victory for Joel getting under someone's skin!

All this good news about the early schedule is bad news about the late season. It's like my Mommy telling me, "Here ya go, Little Jlprk....You can eat your dessert first."

My sense of realism immediately thinks, "When do I have to eat the porridge?"

Maybe, but that is where our depth and youth comes into play IMO. Given how many guys we play and that we will likely improve all year I think playing better teams later on is very favorable to us and also gets us more playoff ready.

Make hay while the sun shines. This favorable early season schedule lets us win games while the players are still adjusting to each other, Nate is tinkering with the line-up and Greg is building his confidence and learning to be productive while staying out of foul trouble.

By the time the tougher part of the schedule rolls around, hopefully the Blazers will have a decent lead in the NW division and the team will be playing their best ball.

That is the game I am waiting for BIG TIME. I want to blow them out in their building. Like win by 20 points and make a statement that they got a gimmie when we had chemistry issues. And for GOD'S SAKE guard Crawford!
