    It seems like Dana is a great person with him being extra kind to fans, especially to veterans, giving up his time, etc..

    However he is a tremendous douche in the business arena. Better to have him on our side, I reckon.

    Dana's whole argument against Fedor is that the opponents he has faced would get smashed by guys in the UFC. The truth is Fedor would probably smash Cain Velasquez. Brock is another story though, the guy is such a freak of nature that his size advantage would probably negate any skill advantage Fedor would have on the ground.

    I don't know if Brock's hands could hurt Fedor, though. We saw what Rogers did, and Fedor wasn't even phased. I mean for fuck's sake, the first punch of the fight shattered Fedor's nose.

    I used to like Dana. I still think he is great for the UFC because of what he's done, but the dude is a total fucking prick. He didn't do those numbers on Spike, Kimbo did those numbers on Spike...like Kimbo did those numbers on CBS.

    Dana is spewing shit about Fedor.

    But I agree that Velasquez would very likely throw around Rogers like he did to Kongo and Rothwell, very low chance that Rogers wins that.

    Well Brock broke Heath Herring's orbital bone, and his eye proceeded to swell shut from 1 punch. He also dropped Couture, and smashed the hell out of Mir's face on the ground. He definitely has the power to hurt Fedor.

    However I don't think Brock's strength is to keep it standing, because unless he drops Fedor early, the longer it goes I think Fedor has an edge with cardio. Brock is better off controlling Fedor, and working GnP, while avoiding submissions and sweeps.

    If Brock can withstand a couple of good ones from Carwin, I'll like his chances against Fedor more. Right now I see it as an armbar victory for the Experiment.

    The problem is Fedor is in the twilight of his career already.

    Brock is only one year younger than Fedor so age wise Brock doesn't have a big advantage. But in terms of wear and tear on the body Fedor might have Brock beat, although Brock wasn't exactly sitting around doing nothing before he got into MMA.

    yeah but CBS or their advertisers if they give a shit about how many Russians watched the fight.

    Of course it'd pull good numbers there, even the ex-Prime Minister of Russia loved watching Fedor Fight or compete in Sambo

    There were threads on sherdog showing that Fedor had a cut on his nose right there in the previews up to the fight.

    If they are going purely for numbers they should focus on Chinese and Indian markets, maybe try to reach goals of like 100 million.
