You be the GM. What moves would you make this off season? What direction would you take this team in? Who would you trade or sign?
Only time can fix what Isiah has done in NY. The first trade I came up with is to trade QRich for the expiring contract of Austin Croshere. Then you trade Jerome James for Trenton Hassel, he has lost his minutes in Minny and Minny needs a back up center. This gives NY a defensive player that can take the role that QRich filled. Then re-sign Butler as a backup to Curry. Altough he played well let Woods go. This one is a streach but I heard plenty of rumors that Memphis wanted Francis. So you trade him for Eddie Jones(expiring contract). The would leave the Knicks with this...Marbury/RobinsonCrawford/JonesRose/HasselFrye/LeeCurry/Butlerwith Jones, Croshere, Rose and Taylor coming off the books at the end of the season. I think that is a decent plan, I streach I know. What do you think?
move to another city, get a new name, release all your players, and pick up free agents with good reputations. then fire isiah thomas.
