You be the GM. What moves would you make this off season? What direction would you take this team in? Who would you trade or sign?

    1) Re-sign Ben to a new contract - award him for what he's done.2) Draft a decent F/C in the draft.3) Develop our young guys and try to incorporate them into the lineup for the next season.

    1) I think that I would resign Big Ben to a three year deal.2) I would go for a solid big man in the draft. Paul Davis from MSU fits in, so would Marco Killingsworth.3) Get a second round pick for either Kelvin Cato or Dale Davis4) Mid Level Exception on Jay Williams, Speedy Claxton, or Jared Jefferies.5) Figure out something to do with Tony Delk, trade him for a pick with Cato if we get Jay or Speedy.

Who would you draft then.We have the 37th pick, so some possibilities are Nick Fazekas, Craig Smith, Allen Ray, or somebody else. We also have the 60th pick, and nbadraft.net says that JP Batista is going to be drafted here, which would be very cool.

i actually think that we should try and trade the 60th with our other one to try and move up to like 30 to get Dee Brown. He could learn how to play under Delk, Rip and Chauncey and he could also be the PG of the pistons future...if they did that i would be very happy with it because then we would have 3 peices of the future puzzle in place with Dee, Tay and Amir

I'm not sure what Detroit really needs, but first I would get a promising big men via draft, free agency, or trade. 'Sheed and Ben are aging.

I think playing with Sheed would be a perfect situation for him. He is much the same player and Sheed would help mold him. I don't think he is quite at the same level potential wise but I think he will be solid NBA role player.

1.) Trade for Charlie Bell. This team needs a back up point. Tony Delk probably won't be in Detroit next year. And Lindsey Hunter may retire. Maybe Carlos Delfino and a 2nd for him?2.) Draft Taj Gray. His stock has really slipped, but i think he'll be a good player. Draft Marco Killingsworth if he is still on the board.3.)re-sign Ben of course.4.) Sign Jackie Butler with part of the MLE.ORtrade Dale Davis, 1st rd. pick, possibly AmirforDamien Wilkens and Mikki Moore.Wilkens is very versatile. He can play 3 positions including point guard.

He has improved a lot though.

i would tend to agree somewhat with that...he would be a filler, but i have to believe there are other free agent options out there ripe for the picking, who would love to come to the D
