How is that funny? It's a travesty, if anything.

It's funny how so many people think they didn't get hosed. Watching the video amazes me how blatantly obvious the refs took game 6 away from the Kings.

The worst officiated playoffs was Miami vs. Dallas.

It doesn't have to be a contest. Both series were awful.

The sad part is, the video shows game 4. Game 6 was worse.

Yep the Kings seriously was kicking their ass that game, then next thing you know, 0 fouls on the Lakers and like 100 for the Kings.

Some people talk shit saying, well what about game 7? The game was called fairly that game and the Kings just lost that game. Well, yeah how would you feel when you had the game and you know without a doubt Stern and Co. gave the game to the Lakers? What do you play for? Where is your motivation?

I liked them too. That team was stacked. Turkoglu and Gerald Wallace, and a young Bobby Jackson off the bench. Bibby was clutch. CWebb and Vlade were good, and Peja hit everything. Christie was their defender, garbage man. It's a shame the refs cost them a title.

The Kings/Lakers and Dallas/Miami series were both so absolutely horrid I considered ditching professsional basketball altogether afterwards.

But I just can't quit those Blazers.

And where is the game 3 tape when the Kings were +20 in FTs, compared to +15 for LA in Game 6?

    Free throws:

    LA-Sac
    22-17
    25-38
    15-35
    27-26
    22-33
    40-25
    33-30

    Total:
    184-204

All this one-sided complaining, they didn't earn it and they get their fair share of calls. Shaq got 17 FTs, Kobe 11 in Game 6. Not completely unheard of for one game, and those two were in foul trouble in Game 3 as well. It isn't just about one night.

Well if you go by what was said, it wasn't just letting the Lakers go, which I believe what happened in game 7 of the Lakers vs. Blazers WCF, but that the NBA thought it was in best interest for ratings to extend the series between the Sac Kings and Lakers.

Game three was important for Sac to get back on track. What happened in game 6 was so blatantly obvious, key possession when Kobe elbowed Bibby after the Kings have a 1 point lead in the 4th. That ONE OBVIOUS CALL could have changed everything. Forget what happened until then.

I hated the Mavs, and I wanted Miami to win at first. I casually watched.

Yeah, but a Laker fan is not going to admit that their championship is more tainted than Miami's.

I don't care for the heat but I'm not hung up on their title the way some are about 2001-2002.
