He probably checked NJ's boxscore to say Lopez is better than Oden, only to find that he can struggle, too.

If Oden can sustain his 21 PER production but average 30 minutes, I'll be VERY happy.

Bingo. The king of the drawn conclusion from single sample strikes again.

In watching Lopez, he seems to be a stiff unathletic player, who is like Brad Daugherty, or an old Chris Webber, after his athleticism left him.

    Am I being too harsh?

Probably a little bit, he's got solid post moves and has range on his shot out to the top of the key and he's a pretty solid shot blocker, even if a somewhat average rebounder and post defender. I think he's probably at or near his ceiling which puts him in the good not great category. But that's still pretty good for a big man taken 10th in the draft.

I wouldn't say too harsh. I would say something else.

Next time Brandon Roy struggles I'll be sure to make a similar thread.

Is that before or after Lopez wins ROY, and makes the all star team twice, makes all NBA 2nd team and is widely considered one of the best C's in the game?

No someone else, "HankTheTroll" posted that Brook Lopez was better than Oden Statistically. I think that's the point he was trying to make. Lopez could fill up the stats, but Oden can change the game.
