Poorly written article, trying WAY too hard.

It was pretty obvious why Curry didn't get PT today.
    1) CJ was being showcased in NY. He's a nice fit there.
    2) Monta whined about the backcourt, so he gave him what he wanted.

As for Jackson, How was he being embarrassed by playing??? Again, he gets a better opportunity to fill up the stat sheet which helps his trade value (That goes for Magette as well)

Whether or not Nelly takes a step back (or up) is a total different story.

Yippie. The day is finally here I can post this.

    Don Nelson,
    [IMG]

Actually, he's a consultant so it's better than a firing. He's short of the all-time NBA winningest coach record and can't get a head coaching job somewhere else to get the record under Cohan. I'm sure Cohan was the behind it. Mwahahahahahaha.

    Nelson denies rumors

Morrow had some good things to say about Nellie and none of the players have said anything too demeaning about him other than lack of and/or inconsistent PT.

I think until the players publicly start to ostracize him, his job is safe.

Considering who the new GM is, I don't see Nelson going anywhere unless if 1) he decides to step down or 2) someone buys the team from Cohan.

The Warriors did everything they could against the Bucks. The only thing they didn't do was defensive rebound. There were some stupid mistakes by some players, but field goals, 3 pointers, free throws we were all fine. So I agree with Cohanhater there was definitely an agenda being written.

I want to say they actually played very well against the Bucks (BTW they've been a pretty decent team thus far in the season) but its hard to say that after they let Jennings score 55. He was white hot but we also played him poorly several times and once he split the double there was no other line of defense to slow him down. He was NAILING threes too. Seems like hes running away with ROY at this point and after seeing that performance from him he could be a really great PG. Wasn't impressed by his passing at all though but I guess he never needed to lol. Could be another Isiah Thomas for all we know at this point. He really wrecked us.

But I did think the W's played well. I knew the Bucks were going to come back at some point because their defense was shit in the first half and Skiles was sure to correct that plus the W's were dropping everything in the first. But they impressed me in the second half as well battling with the Bucks and maintaining a good clip on offense even with the Bucks turning the defense up a lot. W's are currently second in the league in team FG% behind the Celts. Even despite Jennings insane game and the Bucks shooting 14-24 on 3's including Meeks crazy half court shot we almost won. And all of this is on the road no less. Yeah we got killed on the glass but what the hell are we supposed to do? We're starting Mikki freakin Moore and Randolph is our only other big man. We have no choice but to play Jack/Mags at PF any more and now even Buke is out.

Seems absurd to blame Nellie for the loss last night or really for the team doing poorly this season. We've had some HORRIBLE games but the team is actually moving the ball quite well and shooting pretty good percentages. Biedrins, Turiaf, Wright, now Azu have all been out. Nellie drives me nuts a lot but hes also been dealing with a depleted roster and poor chemistry (possibly his fault though). Not saying he doesn't do a lot of dumb ass stuff (namely iso-ing Mags at times when you KNOW Mags won't get a foul) but hes also done a decent job of making this team just bad instead of downright atrocious a la the Knicks, Nets, T'Wolves, etc. who have rosters of similar talent.

BTW Curry had a good game last night. Seems like hes been making idiotic rookie mistakes lately and since CJ has actually been playing well I agree with Nellie there but I was also shocked that Nellie let Curry play through some bumps in the road early in last nights game. Curry went on to have a good night and looked the most comfortable shooting.scoring as I have seen from him yet in the league.

Even with Biedrins and/or Turiaf, we're still a very poor rebounding team. For some reason, no one ever boxes out. It is a basic fundamental of basketball. Maybe the team needs to watch Jim Barnett's Basketball 101 videos. It's absurd. It doesn't matter if you're a guard or a big man, you need to box out your man if you're in a position to rebound.

Jennings was great, but come on...what about going over the screen and not letting him shoot open 3's? The Warriors don't know how to make adjustments even though it's obvious. I just don't understand it.

So unfortunately, despite the team playing competitive, they are lacking the basic fundamentals that will allow them to put away a team. I think this falls on the coaches.

Or, the players on this team are just stupid.
