Story of the game, story of last season, this team doesn't secure the defensive glass. The Warriors were up by double digits at one point, but looking at the number of offensive boards they gave up to the Bucks, they did not deserve that lead. Eventually I guess Jennings decided to turn it on and bring the Bucks' offense around and game was over. Good job Jennings. This is a good rookie class. There are a lot of solid contributing rookies. Lawson is looking sharp as well. Curry isn't doing so bad either.
Meeks probably won it for the Bucks more than Jennings. That prayer shot at the buzzer from beyond halfcourt? Are you kidding me??? If they did not make that 3 pointer, Warriors could have taken it to overtime or won it. Jennings going off was amazing. He was in the zone. That's hard to stop.
Jennings is a player. The thing I liked was he showed no fear. He was ready to play and shine. Maybe its just a flash in the pan 50, because we all know what a "stud" that other 50 player, Jamal Crawford, is but Jennings looked different. Does make me kind of wish the W's had picked him, but I'm still thinking that Curry will be a fine player in the long run. Morrow? Why taking a contested 3 when only down 2? That's got to kill Monta.
I agree it was a bad shot, but I dunno, maybe he was told to take the shot. My question is why even give Morrow that shot? You bring him in cold off the bench and expect him to nail a game-winning 3? That's just a bad idea, that shot should go to someone in the flow of the game. I can see having him on the floor as a decoy only but don't give him a cold shot. Plus, they would have left Milwaukee with almost 10 seconds to score again. The whole thing was botched, and again, doesn't that have to come back to Nelson?
