I am sure Nuggets fans feel the same.

And I think if we keep up keep up our recent play minus a few annoyances, we will be the winner of the Northwest division I just hope the annoyances don't own us in the end, like last year. Just too much depth at C and although we got injuries at SF we'll hold our until either Batum/Outlaw get better.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Sure, the Blazers could. It's just not likely. The Lakers came into the season with the superior roster. Losing Gasol will hurt their record a bit, but Portland is suffering from injuries themselves. I think the Blazers could jump the Spurs ("jump" based on the Spurs generally being ranked ahead of the Blazers prior to the season) in the pecking order, but probably not the Lakers.

Of course, if Oden quickly discovers how to play 30+ minutes per game, all bets are off.

haha... here we go again, from "our season was lost because G.O. missed 2 FTs" to the official "we can win the NW Division" and "we can win the West" threads.

I'm not all that excited yet. Sure 6 wins in a row and 4 on the road is nice. But look at the teams we beat. We beat crappy teams last year too.

It's how we do against the elite that will give us a gauge on how good we are. Without Travis it's going to be tough.

Our win streak consists of us beating

    1. A SA team that played without Parker for all but 11 minutes
    2. A Minnesota team that is 1-10
    3. A Memphis team that is 2-8. One of those wins over Minnesota
    4. See number 2
    5. A NO team that just fired their coach and was without Paul for the 4th quarter
    6. A Charlotte team that is 3-6

Now it's great that we won these games, but frankly, we should have won these games. But I don't think it's time to start talking about getting the #1 seed, or which player gets the championship trophy first after the season is over.

I'm hoping for the 2 or 3 seed.

With the brutal schedule we have at the end of the season we could easily slide to 5 or 6.

We have an easy schedule to the end of the season. It's the middle that's going to be brutal.

I agree we shouldn't be talking No. 1 seed.. but I think many NBA teams would've dropped at least one of these games, especially in a 4-game in 5-night stretch on the road. And if we had dropped a game to a mediocre team, there'd be more threads bitching about how we stink.
Seems like a no-win situation.. we're winning just because we're playing the bad teams, if we lose.. then we're terrible.

I think the NBA season == 82 games. Talking about grabbing the number one seed in mid-November after only 11 games seems a tiny bit premature to me. Those are my thoughts.
