We couldn't get into 2012 tonight so went as saw the MJ film. I always liked his music enough, but, like many, thought he was more weirdo than genius. I was so wrong. Spending 2 hours behind the scenes, watching him, his generosity to the other artists, their awe of him, the whole thing was great. Anyone else see it?
Its more exploitation then anything. I haven't seen it but I am sure it does a good job of showing the world, his work ethic, and his artistic magic at work.
You couldn't get me to pay to watch that piece of human filth if you held a gun to my head. I don't care how talented he was. Creative genius does not justify sexual abuse of children.
Hey, Ben Roethlisberger was accused of rape during the summer and no one cared because it turned out it was just someone trying get rich, I am not sure but I am pretty positive there are some parents out there that would go to any length to get rich and take advantage of MJ's bad social rep.
All I am saying is the guy was incredibly talented - this movie reminded us of that. But of course that does not take away from everything else he did.
Hey what can I say, I stay classy not thrashy, because the doc says it bad for my health. I wasn't blaming the parentals, necessarily, just suggesting that it could be a factor in MJ's particular case, but then again this is the original Sammy Sosa after all, so anything could be true about his personality that wouldn't shock me.
Hey, Chinatown is one of my favorite movies of all time but I still think Roman Polanski is a creep who needs to spend a lot of time in prison. MJ was talented but he was one f'd up individual.
