We need to build a lead now while Nash and Stoudemire are out.

We lived and died with Turk in the 4th quarter. I don't have any problems with how that game ended, even though I desperately wanted them to win. Hedo just as easily hits that shot at the end.

turk was clumsy with the ball.

    -bargs played horrible tonight
-bosh was super tentative in the fourth

-if i was turk, i would have attacked channing frye on the pick and roll and pass it off to beli or caledron when the defense helped.

stats can be misleading. i think bargs numbers are reflective of him playing a lot of minutes with the second unit which outplayed the suns bench.

Amir was solid though, as was Sonny.

sonny missed some defensive assignments. i thought jack was atrocious offensively in the second half but defensively he worked his arse off the entire game keeping barbosa in check.

I don't think it was a coincidence that the Suns began their run when he went on the bench after his 5th foul. He played pretty well today. Wasn't as assertive offensively as I'd have liked and didn't rebound much, but then again his shot wasn't always falling and we didn't lose this game because of rebounding. He defended well, especially when he was switched off against Nash (surprised the hell outta me in those situations). I thought 3 of his 5 fouls were questionable (2 of them were just retarded).

We did a good job of taking away the Suns' go-to offensive move (pick-and-roll). Nash countered by slowly drawing a 2nd defender away from Channing Frye. Frye nailed almost every shot he took. Watching Nash dissect defenses really is a pleasure.

I liked your boy, Amir, a lot. He's very effective when rolling to the basket and receiving passes.

Jack was terrible. He did improve his defense over the last 3-4 games, but he really brought nothing offensively. Committed some bad TO's and a few of his passes were badly off the mark. I think anytime Triano's tempted to play Calderon and Jack, he should just insert Bellinelli in place of one of them. He adds almost as much ball-handling ability, but is less of a defensive liability against SG's and can create for himself better.
