I think he caught us by surprise last game. I don't think we put too much scouting on the guy, thinking he will be a non-factor. That obviously changed since the last game. I think our team will do a lot of posting up with Dre and Roy. Get their wings and guards tired and having to play both ends of the court.
Right on the money. If Greg plays 26-30 minutes - we are a lot more likely to win than lose that one. Keep the big boy in - and it does not matter what Jamal Crawford tries to do. I am willing to bet that the team is going to be fired up - because that game, to me, looked like maybe our worst loss of the season - because it was so winnable and they just folded in the 4th. I don't think Brandon Roy was happy about that game - and I suspect he will be a force tomorrow.
That's what I love about Roy. The dude is a full blown competitor. Even that series against Houston, he took very personal and came out strong from every poor performance. I agree and I suspect Roy will ask to have the ball in his hands the majority of this game. I look for Oden to be really physical too. Seriously man-handling Horford to a point he just has to up his arms in question.
Scoring. That's what we need to do. No more of these games in the 80's. Push the damn ball and put them on their heels. Pound the ball inside, and have some player movement.
It's gonna be an interesting game. Atlanta will want to run with us. This is a game that we'll really miss Travis.
The key? Don't settle for low percentage jump shots, the Hawks love to snag long rebounds and race down the court for easy buckets. Secondly, see if Jeff Gilooly is available and have him kneecap Joe Johnson or Josh Smith ... just saying.
