http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4659552 looks like LA will see raja on friday! wow that will be interesting. gld we played the bobcats... they are better now with sjax.
listen... first of all im glad we played the bpbcats without him cause they are better now. second... we need a trade. you will see once we play good teams. not sjax... but we need a sf who can start. your being foolish if u think this blazer team doesnt need a deal. but sjax wast the answer.
I wouldn't mind seeing a deal, and I agree with you that Steven Jackson was not/is not the guy to add. Too high risk, high reward. We need low risk. There's no reason to take a big chance on something that can blow up your season. The difficulty is finding that availability around the league. Houston is in playoff contention, so they won't get rid of Battier easily just yet. Prince is out indefinitely, I believe, with a back problem. Trying to look at teams off to bad starts, or in general tanking the season. Wilson Chandler would be alright with me. Caron Butler? Although his 7 TOTAL assists this season is scary. I have not seen any Washington games so far this season, so I don't know what is going on there. However, there is still plenty of time for them to turn things around, which makes a deal more difficult. Who do we have they'd want, and can use right now? Outlaw and Blake would have been intriguing for them, but they can't afford to wait on Outlaw's injury. Thoughts?
This thread is like a continuation of the thread about Charlotte making a trade. http://sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149564
Yuck. All I have to say is what the fuck is wrong with Charlotte. S-Jax isn't a terrible player, but his contract is truly horrible. Say what you will about KP, but at least he's not pulling these kind of financially crippling moves.
I think SJAX has a lot of game left and would be worth the money for a club trying to get over the top. I laugh at him going to Charlotte when he was requesting Cleveland, Dallas or NY. Didn't want to start a new thread, so I will stick this in here. How would you like to be Chris Paul and read this in the paper: Sam Amick, Sac Bee: "A source with knowledge of the situation says the Kings are discussing a trade with New Orleans that would send Kenny Thomas(notes) to the Hornets and bring center Emeka Okafor(notes) to Sacramento. The deal would be ideal for the Hornets, as Thomas' expiring contract worth $8.7 million is just the kind of contract that would trim their enormous payroll. The question, of course, is whether the Kings see Okafor as a big man solution worth the five years and $62.5 million left on his deal." (Amick update: "Not expecting the Okafor-Thomas discussions to go anywhere. Sounds like more Kings-Hornets ideas thrown around beyond that one.")
