I feel he is. Who else is ahead of TI and Kanye? Oh maybe Lil Wayne. Forgot about that guy.

 

Lil' Wayne is a complete joke, if it weren't for Birdman he wouldn't even have a record deal.Young Jeezy, Papoose, etc.

 

Lil Wayne is not a joke - he is real good when it comes to lyrics, you jsut need to listen to his cd.

 

I have, his flow is terrible. He uses some good metaphors and stuff, but he has no flow and he's just boring to listen to.

 

Howbout Dr. Dre? He was supposed to release his last album last fall? What happened? That was supposed to be a monster beat album...And Kanye is a good rapper, I loved Drive Slow (the beat too), he always has amazing production but samples singing alot.

 

I love Dre, but he'll always be around because of Aftermath, so I don't think he really counts.

 

What happend to the Baha Men They sang "Who let the dogs out"Can you say one hit wonder?

 

One Hit wonders don't count, ofcourse they're off the map.

 

How about LLoyd Banks then.He hasn't had anything for awhile.

 

Dr Dre's Albym (detox) is coming out this winter.

Well, one of their guys named 'Proof' got shot and killed in a night club recently, if you didnt know that...but yeah they havent made a new song in awhile...

What about simbad? you know, from first kid? Oh yea and in my opinion, most of the rappers out there right now like 50 cent, eminem, t.i., they all are good but i dont particulary like them. I call the type of rap they do popular clubbin rap.The rap I like is underground. Aceyalone, Akademiks, Busdriver, Dangerdoom, all those guys. Those are the true lyricists.
