    You forgot Kobe's 5-20.

Of course, since Kobe is the GOAT and our leader, he can still shoot more than the hot hand and the dude who gets easy buckets left and right.

Artest deserved more shots, as well.

Aaron Brooks torching us doesn't shock me. This team is horrible at guarding quick PGs...mainly because DFish can't stay in front of them.

Kobe is apparently having issues with a leg strain? That's what I heard, which might explain the piss poor shooting. And I think the only reason why he's posting so much is because of Gasol being out. It's not like it's a bad thing, he was shooting nearly 50% from the floor coming in to today. I think once we get Gasol back, he'll go back to his mid-range game and start taking more threes, too.

Why the hell did Fisher shoot so damn much? His shot has been off this year, he needs to stop shooting the ball. Phil needs to remove his head from his ass and get Shannon on the court more too. He's a much better defender and is a good enough shooter to keep the defense honest.

Bynum continued to be a beast, so that's a positive to take from this.

While the loss sucked, I'm not too worried about it. It's early in the season and we're still not at full strength. We'll get it going.

another reason we lost is Phil sticking with Fisher... Brown was doing ok with Kobe and co. on the floor with him...

fisher can't even hit open shots...

Oh my fucking god, this game was AWFUL. First quarter showed how easy this game could have been for us. Jesus christ, GET BYNUM MORE TOUCHES. I see Phil keeps Fisher out there for now reason, but is Fisher also stupid to jack up shots he'll never hit, rather than feeding Bynum inside.

    Im so gutted, WTFFFF

Lets start a petition and send it to Phil that we want him to bench fisher or at least limit his mins. to around 20 a game and consistently give shannon some burn!

Id rather go with Brown's athleticism (leaping ability and offensive rebs.) over fisher's "iq" and bricks...

Lakers haven't realized pre-season is over yet.

This is exactly what he did last year with the Ariza/Walton rotation. Frustrating to no end! Derek Fisher is horrific on defense when you have speed guards on the court. He can still defend bigger guards, but players like Aaron Brooks really expose Fisher.

Lakers are still winning at a 70% clip (without Gasol) despite two straight losses. I'm more concerned about Kobe's groin and feeling he has to do a lot for this team to win. Our bench has been disaster to start the season with the exception of Brown.

Defensive rebounding we are at the bottom of the league and the Lakers have a hard time getting stops.

This is a good take on why Battier kept Kobe in check last night.

Yes, the Lakers can turn it on whenever they want. Don't be shocked when LeBron snatches it this year with that attitude.

    The spread was Rockets +9.5

The Rockets won by 10. Everyone loses.
