Instead of trading, why not sign him for a small amount? I know he's older, but he is a true SF and has played on some pretty solid teams.

Mills is the most likely candidate.

If Batum is really out for the year, we could get an injury exception and sign him as well.

Myabe the injury exception is the way to go ... but I still think looking for a trade is better than trying to shoe horn Stackhouse into the lineup. Oh well, whatever.

Stackhouse is a decent player. Obviously not a "Game Changer", but a definite upgrade to Webster right now.

And if KP forces the issue and possibly trades: Blake and Webster or Outlaw for a defensive minded PG, possibly Chris Duhon, it would make damn sure Nate will play miller for more minutes.

I'm just seeing what many of you have been pointing out about Webster at the start of the season. It could be possible Roy starting at SF is Nate doesn't have confidence to start Webster at SF. Maybe the solution could be finding a much better SF than Webster, and so far this season, there are many to choose from. If it means signing Stackhouse and releasing Mills, then so be it. Do you really think Mills will have any burn on this team in the next 3 years?

No. Stackhouse is 35 years old and hasn't been at Webster's level in a couple of years. Given that Webster is young and could possibly improve from where he is now in the coming weeks and months, adding Stackhouse ahead of Martell in the rotation would make no sense.

Stack is done. Let some other team spend their money and roster spot on him.

I agree with this. I actually think we need to start either Webster or Rudy instead of Blake. Once they get more consistent minutes I think we would see improved play. It was a mistake to force Roy to guard Joe Johnson virtually the whole game. Oh and Josh Smith is a FREAKING BEAST. He would be so perfect for this team I can't even say. I would honestly consider LMA for Smith straight across.

Maybe if it was 1996. Stackhouse is a big reach at this point, maybe Glenn Big Dog Robinson is available too? ;)
