The point here is how in the world could he be worse then Martell was in that last game.

Holy shit Martell was bad. Like "Has he ever even played one minute of NBA basketball?" bad.

Worst Blazer on the floor by a huge margin.

You're right I don't "know" I can only relate what Monty Williams said about him in training camp and from the few snippets of play he's gotten on the court. I guess I'm just trusting the Blazers coaching staff that they know what position he plays when they list him at power forward. :dunno:

Can someone please refresh my memory on how you ignore a user again, I need to stop reading topics/comments posted by magnifier, I keep telling myself to avoid them but I don't pay enough attention to the topic starter so I need a better reminder. Thanks for the help in advance.

Well ... you might have a point. But my what I was mainly trying to say is that Dante playing or not is mostly unrelated to the small forward position. We do have need for a backup power forward with Travis down for a long time, but we also have maybe a bigger hole to fill at the small forward spot since Brandon doesn't seem to be nearly as effective at the 3 versus the 2 and Martell just looks ... bad.

View my public profile and click "ignore". :D On the user CP, there is an option on the left side that says "edit ignore list", type in my moniker.

Jealous I don't clown on you like I do my boy HCP? And my crack on your intelligence referred to your insane ideas for the Blazers. But maybe you are right and Nate should play Martell at the 4 you know better than our staff, the entire NBA is a conspiracy but Stern is pissed at us for getting Oden and Washington would be dumb enough to hand over their All Star 3 for someone you call poison and fool's gold in Blake, a non PF in Martell and a point guard they don't need in Dre. I'm sure I could go further back but that's just what you've said so far this week.

*Now following the link and ignoring

I agree, I'd like to see what Cunningham has to offer. The guy is built like a freaking tank! He supposedly has hops to rival or exceed Outlaw's. I still feel like the problem is Blake and not playing with a true SF. If we have to go three guards then we should definitely start Rudy next to Roy and Miller. I know Blake had some great assists last night, but they are nothing that Miller and Rudy can't duplicate.

If you want three guards go Rudy. If you want a SF then start Martell and bring DC off the bench. It might be that DC is better then Martell in which case you can start him instead. Blake is not, and will not be cutting it.

Didn't know he was a 4 in college. In that case we might want to consider playing him over Howard unless he is abominable. Lord knows the guy is ripped, he could probably hold his own against second and lower tier PF's.

I'm guessing we will see a little Dante after the Blazers have time to make adjustments in a practice or 2.

I think you are right. There's going to be some serious adjustments made in upcoming practices...then "game time" will dictate which Blazer will "Rise with us" to new heights!

Whenever LMA has a strong game (meaning, when he does more than shoot long jumpers) and plays agressive - we win.

Someone needs to light the fire under LMA's arse on a regular basis. He plays a little too aloof on the whole. This is his time to emerge as a true star in this league - if only he could see this!

Roy is playing "tired" or perhaps he's playing like "there are still 68 games in the regular season ahead of me" - but whatever it is, he's in a funk. Watch his emotions (kinda lacking in the emotions part of his game!).

    Webs sucks. Sorry Webster-lovers.

We need a Bayless + Webster + Picks trade for a small Forward. And I'm not saying Bayless + Webster + Picks is going to get us an All-star. But we need a dependable SF that can actually defend. LMA plays the PF from outside of the paint....Oden needs help down low when our guards get burned (happens too often against Blake and Roy!), so bring in a SF who can defend first, score second.

Bayless + Webster + Picks to Houston for Battier?

    Late 2010 / 2011 Line-up

    ------------------------------------------------
Miller / Blake / Mills as our future PG rotation

Roy / Rudy as our future SG rotation

Battier/Batum/Cunningham as our future SF rotation

Aldridge/Outlaw/Pendergraph as our future PF rotation

Oden / Pryz / Howard as our future C rotation
