No trading of Monta. Someone who I wrongly thought was a selfish "punk" actually did something this Summer that not many players would do, he grew up. The W's asked him to be a leader for the team and try to make his teammates better. Well he stood tall when the Clips destroyed the W's at Oracle, and how does management reward him? Nellie tells him to sit down. That is the state of the Warriors in a nutshell. Unbelievable that Cohan (who is not stupid, he's made more $$ than all but a handful of people in the world) would stand for this. That's not how you run a business. Monta needs to stay and management needs to go. I almost never say that.
I disagree that Monta grew up. He's still a big baby complaining about the situation. Do I blame him? No. But he could still take the high road and he's not.
You're all right. The whole situation is fucked. Management is incompetent and idiotic. Nellie is going off the deep end and Monta seems to be dragging out every little issue.
Cohan, Rowell, and Nellie are idiots. We got jack sht for that Devean George deal. Look at Belli's stat line. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/4296/gamelog;_ylt=AtGAT81VKJwAKDYZ5LS56kmbPaB4 ... Think we could use a 6'6" athletic guard who can shoot threes, pass and dribble? If we don't be careful, we'll lose Randolph prematurely. All I can say is this salary cap crap better be 1 of 2 things. 1.) Cohan is selling and needs to trim future payroll. 2.) We're seriously trying to pursue a superstar guy from the 2003 draft.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? HE'S HORRIBLE! Someone who shoots over 48%? A/TO ration better than 1? He'd never fit in with the Warriors. Man, get a clue.
