    Dear Rudy:

Now that Travis has gone down, this is an absolutely PERFECT time for you to show the team/fans what you are made of! Admit it, you went off squawking a bit to one of those Euro-rags that you needed a chance to prove yourself....that you needed some more pt in which to do it. Well, hombre, that time has arrived. MAKE THE BEST OF IT!

Naturally, Nate will be giving you plenty of minutes, If you play your cards correctly, then, in the not-too-distant future, I expect to see you in MIP and/or 6th Man conversations.

Go for it! Wee need you now!

    Best,

    ABM

ABM I don't believe you're only at 10 posts per day. It seems like so much more ;)

You haven't heard? Nate is going to bring in Mills to adjust for Outlaw's absence. But he did say that Fernandez may see some time at Center, if Oden has 0 fouls in the 2nd.

outlaw being out with probably only have a very small effect on rudy's minutes. this season they haven't really been competing for the same minutes at all.

It doesn't have to be all about the minutes. They played on the same unit together, and we all know, when the ball comes to Outlaw, chances are, its being shot. He only passes like 20% of the time. To be honest I am surprised more teams haven't figured this out. Now Outlaw will not be there for shots. I expect Rudy and Bayless to be the beneficiaries of this.

Not position minutes per say. It's actually being called on the offensive end more. With Outlaw on the floor, Nate would run ISOs for him as well.

I think Rudy gets more minutes. I notice taht Nte would give some run (especially in the 4th) with a line up of Miller, Roy, Outlaw, Aldridge and Oden. I think that line up is now going to be Miller, Roy, Rudy, Aldridge and Oden and that we will see a lot of that in the 4th.

Just go ahead and start Martell...with Rudy and Blake being first off the bench. Needs to happen.

no, just to let him sink or swim. Now is the time to see if Webster is going to be kept on the Blazers roster at all.

Personally, I think it's a psychological thing with him. He seems to be night & day between starting and coming off the bench. :dunno:

I have noticed Webster actually plays better offensivly if playing SG over SF. Dont' know why, maybe it is something to do with size.

I never noticed it, but the data seems to support it.
