I did not say despise. I said that their preaching is highly irritating. I do not despise religious people. And yes, I do enjoy studying a culture that is highly religious. This in no way means that I don't find Muslim preaching just as irritating (if not more) than Christian preaching.
No, it doesn't. Then you view them as immoral. Plenty of people view Christians as hypocritical, shallow minded bigots. It doesn't mean they are. But, if a Christian group were to put up a sign that said "Christians: we're not hypocritical, shallow minded bigots" then I wouldn't consider that preaching. Same thing with the atheist sign.
Then the Atheists should have put out that sign. Instead, they expressed an agenda that was meant for attention. I can't respect that, just as how I cringe when I drive up I-5 to Seattle and see the crazy "God" billboards the guy that owns the farm south of Chehalis puts up on his land.
"Expressing an agenda that was mean for attention"? You mean, having a message that you want to get out to the public? Talk about pejoration. What, so a sign that reads "Atheists: we're not all immoral" is different somehow? It's the same message, just worded differently.
Yeah, I really don't care enough about this to have you proselytize what the Atheist religion's intent is with that billboard. Later.
