I would take that as an insult if I were a Lions fan. That's like saying Matt Stafford is exactly Brady Quinn.
Even if somehow the Donkeys do win this week, they're not going to hold onto that division lead. They're schedule is tough.
That would be sweet. I don't know, I'm feeling confident about this team right now. They're rolling, meshing well, and Rivers is finally getting a lot of love from the media. The defense has stepped its game up. Don't be fooled by McNabb's 400+ yard day against us, we were giving them the middle of the field all day because we had a big lead. We were defending the deep passes to Maclin and Jackson and we never allowed one to be complete. Everything McNabb hit was a 10 yard pass with a nice run after because we were in Prevent all day. If we can get the bye, it'd be sweet. Indy has one, lock that up. It is going to come down to Cincy, SD, and NE for that bye. I'm leaning towards NE right now, but they've got the same record as us, and we're both one loss behind the Bengals (who will be beaten by SD later this year!).
Steelers have an outside chance, because I don't see the Bengals beating San Diego. Pittsburgh still plays Baltimore twice though. Likely though, INDY, SD, CIN, NE and PIT are playoff locks. Do we all agree on that mostly?
Cincy will fall off to the point where they'll win the division, but won't get the bye. Indy is getting one. Now it is down to SD and NE, imo.
Michael Turner most likely will be out for Atlanta. He's got a high ankle sprain. Giants should be the healthiest they have been all season. Chris Canty and Michael Boley had recovered before the bye but they needed the extra week to get back into game shape. Aaron Ross has finally practiced regularly and could see some time. And Eli (heel), Bradshaw (foot), and Tuck (shoulder) all said the extra week really helped them with their nagging injuries. Needless to say, I'm predicting a win for NY. If they can't beat a Turner-less Atlanta when they're very close to full health, there's not much hope left for this season.
