Man, I just purchased some of the most amazing sounding headphones in the world. I am a music nut, so if anybody is in the market, def check these out! http://beatsbydre.com/products/Products.aspx?pid=B3808
how do you get away with so many OT threads in the main page? Are all the mod's getting the "beerboy" treatment?
I tried the BBD, but ended up going with the Sennheiser IE8's on a pretty sweet deal when I was in Japan.
I am currently using the Apple In-ear ones (not the ones that come with ipods)...pretty good actually and portable, which is important to me. I have some Shure Designs, but wasn't too impressed (I'm going to get new pads for a tighter seal...which I hear helps alot.
I just got these: http://www.amazon.com/iHome-iHM77R-..._ob_sg_title_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1258761606&sr=8-13 My friend bought a pair when we were in vegas last weekend and we had people in the room but no tunes.....they had a Best Buy vending machine in the hotel, we hooked these fuckers up and had a nice party in the room.
BTW, my friend tells me Grado is the shit. http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestig...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1258761703&sr=1-2 For my large headphones, I have a pair of the Sennheiser HD-590s.... but both of these are "open" headphones so gets annoying if you're on a plane for others.
open headphones, the sound sometimes leaks out of the headphone to the outside, closed, the sound just is isolated more. I think the open headphones gives a wider range of sound, but you can slightly hear it more if you're in a tight space....probably better for home useage.
Anyone know a place I can find these cheaper? I've been looking for a pair like this, but damn $299 I found at BestBuy is still the cheapest I've found..
I got me these for the home computer... surround sound... when you turn your head it still appears the sound is coming from one spot. http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs...&catalogId=10551&langId=-1&productId=11035276
$80 cheaper here: http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&ke...=aps&hvadid=3341247807&ref=pd_sl_76xv4eimsq_b
