the way the game is going- O might be the permanent game thread girl. notes: JO doenst have the foot speed to guard quick bigs, in fact, i would sit JO. -beli and amir are bringing the awesomeness once again -jack is playing his arse off, love the strip on JO -turk is playing a solid game in all facets -i would try and blow them out and hope that i can rest bosh for the big game against orlando -pops literally sacrifices his body on every play, have to respect that
i love chalmers too but there is no way caledron should have allowed him to abuse him the way he did. the contrast between hedo and caledron is drastic- hedo says glued to james jones (a three point shooter) and he cant get off, while caledron floats back to the paint leaving chalmers wide open for three's. ill even give him a mulligan on the blow by's where chalmers got to the basket with no resistance by caledron but the lack of awareness is inexcusable. caledron and triano's giving caledron carte blanche almost cost us the game. we should have blown this team out of the building like the thunder did a few nights back. notes -hedo had a great game but his handles are a disaster waiting happen -bosh played great on both ends with the obvious exception of beasley embarrassing him on a few possessions -derozan played terrific d , probably his best effort defensively -beli looked like he injured himself -weems needs to exercise some restraint offensively, he cant jack up a shot every time he sees fit
the first game i've seen in a while. Very impressed with Bellinelli. I know Jack has sucked for the greater part of the season but tonight he was great. And of course Bargnani bringing the hurt on JO was great. Calderon still looks very restrained, early in the game there was a perfect opportunity for an alley opp but didnt throw it (although he gave one a few possessions later). Amir was also great of the bench and i liked DD although he didnt do too much
The Raps were begging to lose this game but the Heat's supporting cast is just ass. I thought the officiating was fairly terrible and definitely bent towards evening-up the game but w/e, the right team won. I was surprised D-Wade only had 10 FT's, it seemed like he was camped there all night. Calderon is slowly getting back to form offensively but it seems that's all he can muster right now. He had moments where he looked like his old self being disruptive on defense but not enough of them. His movement on D is not good.
