Update: Chris Johnson: 6.4 YPC, 1396 Yards, 9 TDs, 217 rush attempts A. Peterson: 4.8 YPC, 1084 Yards, 12 TDs, 230 rush attempts
It's a tougher question than most people give it credit for. One thing that's always annoyed me about AP is his insistence on running so straight up. With all the athleticism and talent he shows each week, he could be even more difficult to tackle and could gain more yards after the first hit if he lowered his center of gravity. It'd also greatly reduce the number of fumbles he commits (people too often overlook his fumbling habit, IMO). At the moment, I'd probably list them: 1) Chris Johnson 2) Adrian Peterson 3) Maurice Jones-Drew 4) Steven Jackson 5) DeAngelo Williams 6) Michael Turner 7) Frank Gore 8) Ray Rice 9) Cedric Benson 10) Ryan Grant
I didn't know he had another today. He dropped the ball 9 times last season and I think he might surpass that number this year.
I'm convinced that right now, Chris Johnson is the best RB in the league. However, I think part of AP's fall is due to Favre absolutely shredding mother fucker's up in Minny.
