Blake is the best player on the planet, maybe we could just have him play SF? Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best!Blake is best!Blake is best!Blake is best!Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best! Blake is best!
I thought about that, not only because Nelson is hurt (though he's only supposed to be out, what, 4-6 weeks right? I haven't paid much attention), but Nelson is always hurt. That being said, does Orlando have anything we'd want that they would potentially give up for Miller? I just can't see his value being that much.
By your standards, Blake is not a winner. Maybe Washington or Denver got to the 2nd round one year when he was there (I honestly don't know, maybe you can tell me), but I hardly think that qualifies Blake as anything more.
Whether Miller starts or not it was nice to see Roy back at SG. Really think we blew it not getting Hinrich. Great defender, good shooter and veteran leadership. Miller and Roy mix like oil and water. I love having a change of pace 2nd string PG.
Wrong. Blake hasn't been in the league for 10 years. This is only Blake's 7th season. By the time Blake is in his 11th season, he will have won many playoff series and probably even a championship.
BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE!BLAKE!BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! BLAKE! blake?
Why do you guys listen to this guy???? he is just trying to piss you off Question: If a five year old was arguing with you and was telling you that Blake is better than Miller would you argue with him? Just let it go, pretend hes 5, and most likely he IS somewhere close to that age
Miller himself has averaged over 16 points a game the last two seasons; he might be able to expand on his scoring on our 2nd unit. He could post up in a lineup that doesn't really have any post-up players. Of course he would have to accept his limited playing role for that to work. As far as trading him I don't think he really has that much value (possibly due to defensive deficiency and reluctance to accept secondary role) except maybe in combination with other players.
Sorry shoulda clarified. My point is that Blake hasn't made it past the first round either. And I would argue that Blake has been on some teams as good, if not better, than any Miller has been on to date. Really, though, Blake hasn't done anything to me to show he's a winner in this league either. I felt like Blake hurt us in the playoffs last year. He caught a fair amount of heat for his performance, especially at the end of a couple games. I'm hoping the experience makes him stronger when he reaches the playoffs this year, and I think he'll be better for it. But that's just hope at this point.
1. I'm not pissed off. 2. Who cares? It's just a debate on a basketball board forum. I don't agree with his POV on Blake, likely never will. But I'll still debate and chit-chat some b-ball.
I don't think he's really trying to piss anyone off. He has an opinion of a player. He's a bit attached to the guy, more than I understand. But really...what's your point?
Well, I think he sincerely believes Blake is one of the more/most valuable players on the team AND is trying to be extreme about it to combat what he see as "hate" for Blake. I wouldn't really call it trolling. Emotion-based advocacy is nothing new on sports forums (or politics forums, etc).
