Blame has to be on Pritchard... he amazingly made us worse.

It all started last year at the deadline. Had the best piece of all to trade in RLEC and choked. That was our chance to add a great SF like carter or Jefferson. Then he fails after kissing hedo ass and has to save face so he signs Andre Miller. Adds really nothing to this team that was in desperate need of a tough power forward to add some muscle.

Im also gonna agree with Kingspeed on this when i say... Miller just doesn't fit. Hes not gonna fit and to be honest its shocking that KP could not see this a mile away. Even Bill Simmons knew it but not our own GM? Thats kinda scary. Its gotten to the point where we are officially a worse team then last year. i dont care if we beat Minny by 50. They had the lead in the 3rd quarter which is awful on our part.

Lets look at who "KP" brought us...

Andre Miller (cant shoot a jumper or a three and needs the ball in his hands at all times.)

    J. Howard (OLD and HAS NOTHING TO OFFER BUT KIND WORDS) not even close to frye.

And i will tell you something about howard.... ever since the Bobcats game... when he comes in... we play like shit and blow leads. Its like he is a momentum killer and offers nothing. How is Cunningham not playing?

KP is gonna have to deal for this team to even make the playoffs IMO. And i think you can expect Miller to mentioned in almost every rumor out there. Its just not gonna work here. theres no way he accepts coming off the bench all year while our star player has openly said... they cant play together. Deal has to be made. Problem is we still suck at 3 positions.
PG, SF, and backup PF. Cant fix it all at the trade deadline. I would make a strong push for Rudy Gay. But knowing KP... hes already set on the current roster cause he falls in love with his players.... and cant make a good move to save his life if it isnt draft day.

Your solution is to trade for Rudy Gay who has a problem with OJ Mayo taking too many shots? Really?

dude... quite frankly.... i dont give a flying fuck who we trade for.... but i know we need a trade ASAP. Maybe you enjoy watching howard get abused on a nightly basis. Or maybe you enjoy watching us waste money on Andre Miller who clearly doesnt fit. Or maybe you enjoy martell playing good once every 10 games at SF.

WE NEED A TRADE.... BADLY.... AND BACKUP PF AND SF ARE MUST GETS IF THIS TEAM IS TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

As a starter, Webster has had 5 good games out of 6 this year. His only bad start was the second Houston game in which he was given less than 15 minutes.

Webster's "inconsistency" this year is vastly overstated.

We need a trade, no matter who. Can't disagree with you there.

More seriously, I've said for a long time that Pritchard is not a good trader, contrary to his reputation pushed by his worshipers. A normal GM would have settled down the roster for this season, but he apparently is unable to cull the wheat from the chaff and discard it. He needs more years to bake the loaf, because...he's slow.

He's a good draft-day trader, and that's about it. He's been very candid about his aversion to in-season trades because he fears their negative impact on team chemistry. Anybody (cough...MIXUM...cough) hoping for a trade this year should not hold their breath.

So basically what you're saying is you want a trade for the sake of a trade. I'm all for an upgrade at SF, but if you think Andre Miller doesn't fit you'll fucking give yourself an ulcer over how bad Rudy Gay would fit here.

I mean really Mixum, you have to know he'd be an absolute disaster here right? His stats are because he gets shots on a bad team, and he wouldn't get near those level of shots here.

Again, I'm all for the idea of upgrading at SF. But this would be a gigantic headache, especially if you think the Miller situation is one now. Just think things through a little.

The upgrade at SF needs to be a veteran who doesn't require a lot of shots, and isn't going into next summer as a restricted free agent looking for his first big contract. That's not Rudy Gay.

Wasn't it Nate that supposedly pushed for Miller? I thought I remembered reading that after the meeting, Nate wanted Miller, and had the entire offseason.

Am I not remembering that correctly?

Miller hasn't been given a real chance. In my opinion, the best thing that could happen to the Blazers would be Blake suffering a season ending injury because otherwise Nate won't start the superior point guard. The three guard lineup was not a true chance because he was stuck with blake as the world's worst 2 guard.

There is something to be said for that. I doubt we will ever see consistent games like the one we saw from him yesterday, but he is very reasonable role-player when starting, which is all we need from him until Nic comes back.

I seem to remember it as well.

I also think that Nate had a pretty good idea about Miller playing off the bench and told him (Miller) there is a very good chance it would happen when they had their Las Vegas meeting.

This is a draft-built team, and as I've said since the day they blew up the team 6 years ago bringing in a player who has already become accustomed to the league is the surest way to undo all the good we've done.

No matter who we brought in, Miller or Hedo or Kobe or Nash...the result would be the same.

Discord, ego battles, awkward and disjointed play.

Trade Miller for picks and put the cake back in the oven.

You are expecting way too much out of Howard. He is in his 16th year, man. He was brought in as a player/coach for the most part, and to only fill minutes when injuries brought on the crunch. You will note, Dante Cunningham got his first minutes last night.

Howard doesn't stink. He just is getting old. It happens to the best of players.

    1. You were the one who was pimping Andre Miller and begging KP to pick him up. Once he gets him, and he doesn't fit, of course, you blame KP.

    Typical.

    2.
    You said that last year.

If KP gets Rudy Gay, and then he doesn't fit (because he won't)... you will put the blame on KP and say "KP IS RUINING THE TEAM!!!!!! WE NEED TO TRADE FOR A REAL SF THAT CAN DO MORE THAN JUST SHOOT A TON OF JUMPER!!!! WE MIGHT AS WELL HAVE KEPT OUTLAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry it's the TRUTH!"

We need a trade to make the playoffs? Where have I heard this before?

MIXUM, let me ask you for the umpteenth time, what should KG have done with RLEC?

Pound on KP and Nate all you want, but I think Dre fails because Roy doesn't give him a chance to succeed. Roy doesn't want to play with Dre starting at PG, and he doesn't want to change his game to adjust to Dre.

We suck at three positions? Who are our three starters that suck? Trot your list out here, so I can point and laugh again.
