I actually wouldn't mind. I remember following the Clippers when they had essentially Pooh Richardson and nobody else and they were looking like they would break BOTH the 0-17 to start the season and the winning-only-9-games-in-a-season record, but they snapped the first one by beating the Milwaukee Bucks (who had just finally signed their prize rookie, Glenn Robinson) and the joy their few fans felt far outweighed the pissed-offness of the Bucks fans. If I had a choice: beat the Lakers and lose to the Nets or vice versa, it's lose to the Nets every time. It's not like we'll be seeing them in the playoffs.
