Hill is playing remarkably well for the Suns. But they've got to realize that they need to start rebuilding and soon. Does anyone really believe they're a contender this season? And if they are going to get something for Hill, it better be now, because it's a year-to-year decision whether or not he'll retire.

Would they do a Webster-for-Hill swap? I'm guessing "no", because they've pissed off Nash enough by trading his best buds (notably Raja Bell) and Hill is the guy he's closest to that's left. But they've seen how much better Channing is suited to their system, and I'm thinking that Webster would be another one. He would get a steady stream of fast break dunks and open threes, and he wouldn't EVER have to create off the dribble...

And for us, Hill would be a GREAT lockerroom guy and would be the all-round SF we need (and probably has better PG skills than Blake). Plus we only need somebody to fill in for Batum, so if he retired at the end of the season, it wouldn't be a tragedy.

(The other risk is that he would just retire if they traded him and would never come, partly because he's made enough money, he likes Phoenix, and he LOVES their trainers who basically resurrected his career.)

What about making a move for Raja Bell and having him either start at 3 or come off the bench to shut down opposing stars while our second unit is in? I've been wondering if he has enough left in the tank to be worth a shot. I want to see how Webster does for a few games starting before making anything other then a no-brainer trade that involves Webster (Caron for instance is a no-brainer).

Bell is going to be out for the season with a wrist injury, it seems.

I would have loved that, but Bell opted for surgery on his injured wrist after he learned he'd been traded to the Warriors. Can't say I blame him.

Even if we think PHX isn't going to compete this season, after what they have kind of pulled their fans through the last 3 seasons, can you imagine them getting off to a super hot start, and then dumping players, and telling their fans, well, come on. Did you actually think we can compete? No chance. They'd need to fall apart before moving players.

However, I would love to have Grant Hill. I thought getting him and McDyess would have made for a perfect offseason for us.

I doubt Phoenix blows it up this season. They are playing too well. They are going to ride it out until Nash either leaves or retires I think. They aren't going to blow it up when he has his groove back and they have one of the best records in the league.

He shoots more than once a game. That is unacceptable with Roy at the wheel. :drumroll:

Yeah, we should get this kid, LaMarcus a couple of shots every once in a while... :dunno:

What kind of fact-less bullshit this is.

This year, Roy took 19.7% of our field-attempts.
    D-Wade is at 26.8%
    Kobe is at 27%
    Joe Johnson is at 22%
    LeBron is at 24.3%

Roy should shoot more, on this team, not less.
