Magic was the PG, the playmaker, that's what made him the superstar. So instead of getting James Worthy, you grab Stockton so Magic can play "off the ball" and post up and cut to the basket. And Magic played center for a "play-off" not a full season. Thanks for playing though.

If you watch the games you can tell how much better he Makes the big men...

and dont bring up PER please. Because you are the one that harps on the Blazers should be playing Blake more with his < 10 PER

Okay, so you aren't talking about victories then? Why don't we just start drafting Ivy League graduates who speak 5 languages? They'd be great with the media.

Outlaw, Webster, Przybilla, Blake, and Jack all preceded Roy and are all just as classy. Same thing can be said about Aldridge, Rudy, Batum, Oden. Why are you giving Roy ALL the credit for the makeover of the franchise? Yes, he's the face. But he's nothing without his teammates. He's a first round loser at best right now, so why the cumstains all over his pictures?

Is he wrong? Every star (Kobe, LeBron) thinks the same thing. They have to have a certain ego to achieve that star status. Doesn't mean they care about their individual stats more than team success.

Nice dodge. Fact is Roy is our best player, made the all-stars two year in a row, rookie of the year. Ivy league graduates won't cut it, since they aren't the best players in the game. I rate Roy as one of the top 10 players currently (could be argued). So your "sarcasm" was weak. Nice try though.

Like i said before, Kobe without another star on his team never made it passed the first round.

Same with Wade, Same with Jordan

Oh and read the title of this thread. This was because some poster called him a bitch. So that was in response to people putting all the blame on Roy. :D

If the goal is to make our bigs better, Miller has not done the job.
If the goal is to make Roy better, Miller has not done the job.
If the goal is to make the PG better (offensively, at least) - we should play Miller more.

Again, who are the stars and who are the role players on this team, remind me?

Ok, what's your point? Roy's got budding stars in Aldridge and Oden right next to him.

Honestly, you are making so much sense and maybe my "meltdown" is effecting my reasoning. I just was seriously offended with someone calling Roy a bitch. It really rubbed me wrong. Thanks for coming up with good arguments.

And if Oden does become an allstar (which i think he will) it will be because of his defense, IE Ben Wallace, and he will NEVER be the offensive force that a Shaq is

I think some of you need to take a nice long break. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and move away from the keyboard. Start a new hobbie. You're too close, too fanatical, that you're going to continue missing all the good things that the Blazers have going for them. Roy says a sentence and suddenly all the good will he's built up over three years is gone. That's lunacy, and I seriously question the mental health of 50-68% of this board. Because this is just stupid. It's not even funny in a sick, twisted way anymore.

I mean, I'm a Blazer fan, and outside of the unfortunate injuries, I'm happy with where they are. Then I come here and the first thread I see calls Roy a bitch. Awesome. Great fans Portland. Way to keep things in PERSPECTIVE.

Just take a break, you'll thank me later.

I don't see how this has any relevance? So you think Aldridge and Oden will only become decent players? Ok? So what? We need another star? It's certainly not Miller, who hasn't been an all-star in 10 years.

Well it's always good to go with hind-sight. That sets apart the wanna-be gms to the good gms. Did Chicago know Pippen was going to be a superstar? Hell wasn't he like picked mid-late draft?

I totally Agree. However, Miller has shown in the passed, and just by watching the 15 games played, that he can certainly raise the Big mens potential unlike Blake

Oops, my mistake. He was picked fifth in the draft.
